Just back from MNSSHP 9/15

Thanks for the character reports!!

We need the Dwarfs, Bullseye, Horace, 2 Country Bears, and Brer Fox.

And Capt. Jack if he's out - though DD's not sure she wants to stand by that "scary dirty pirate". :teeth:

ETA:
Does someone have more specific info on where to find Brer Fox, Country Bears (and were all 4 out?), Horace, and the Dwarfs. There's no spots marked on the map for those spots.

Thanks for the reports. I can't wait until the party on October 6th.

I thought there was going to be Haunted Storytelling aboard the Liberty Belle during the party this year. It's good to have the Liberty Belle back during regular hours, and I was hoping it would be a part of MNSSHP again.

which land do you go to during set up and at what time?

thanks for the info everyone. We will going to our 1st halloween party- next friday, 9/22. Does everyone see that I only have 3 days left til Disney World here comes the Luster Family- woohoo!!!!!! I know I won't be able to sleep come monday night. We are looking forward to seeing the 7 dwarfs, that would be great to get their autographs as well........

Haven't seen anything about these attractions from past partys... was cinderella's coach parked in back of the castle? how about Donald's pumpkin patch? Did anybody get the T-shirts or the pins? What do they look like? Also would like to find out about the Libertybelle storytelling. Ah ... the questions never end!!!!

thanks ~ this info rocks!

I can't wait until we go!!

Any unique costumes you saw? Also anyone know if free strollers? Free face paiting? Balloon making? And the earliest you got in?

Anyone know who is back in TOONTOWN or Judge's Tent this year? :confused3

You have gorgeous babies!!!!!!!!! Where will you be staying at when you go to the "world"??

thanks to everyone for the great info. We are attending on the 29th of Sept.

Great info, thanks for posting! I have read the thread so I don't think this is a repeat but if so I apologize. Did you notice if any of the CS restaurants were open, esp a bit later in the evening?

I see a number of CS restaurants listed on the MNSSHP Guide posted here but I remember very well that only one was open last year as it was not one my dd's are fond of. I don't have a TS dinner reservation on our MNSSHP evening and I am trying to figure out if we should eat prior to the party or not.

Thanks again - can't wait until 10/2 for our party.

The same ones that are listed on this year's map were open last year. They may have closed at 10pm though... we ate around 9. But I know that we went into two to look at menus before we settled on Cosmic Ray's. They didn't always "look" open because they were empty.

We were there last night. We weren't too happy about the rain, it was on and off all night long. They had to close rides a few times due to lightening. But we made due. It seems like this year that more people are interested in getting candy and seeing characters then riding rides. We rode on tons and tons of rides, never having to wait in a single line. But to see characters, you were looking at a 20 minute wait... lol.

We did the dance party in Cosmic Rays which my kids absolutely loved. We trick or treated, but only ended up with a half a bag each, last year we ended up with 2 full bags per person doing the same amount of trick or treating. We saw Snow White & the 7 Dwarfs which made for a great picture. We missed most of the "unusual characters" but did see Donald Duck dressed up as a pumpkin, Stitch as Elvis, Piglet as a Flower & Eeyore as a mummy.

Cinderellas carriage is parked by It's a Small World in the area where the skyway used to be. Be prepared to wait in a long line to get a picture. They were doing neat photopass photos though, we didn't wait in line though.

They are still doing free face painting, not sure where else but in Toon Town for sure. On our way out, there was a guy doing balloon animals... he was awesome. He made my older dd Cinderella and younger dd Minnie Mouse, really detailed ones. It actually took all of Hallowishes to do just the Minnie Mouse one.

Hallowishes of course was excellent, love the music!! We had planned to watch the 2nd parade but it was raining again and another hour until it so we just went ahead and left.

Maybe it was because of the rain, but we all agree that we had a MUCH better time last year.... but it's still awesome and worth the extra money and we'll do it again next year for sure!

I have pictures to share when I get a chance, we are at POFQ but moving to BWV tomorrow for 3 more days. Night all.

Thanks for taking time out of your vacation to post for us!

We'd love to see pictures!

Enjoy!!

Thank you for the wonderful reports.

Sept. 29th here we come....

anewvance, thanks for the info.

The carriage wasn't out last year (at least for our party), so DD will like that.

Where was the balloon guy?

FABULOUS! thanks everyone for posting!!

The carriage was out last year for our party at the same spot :teeth: we went on 10/21, this year we are goign on 10/5!!!

GETTING super excited!!!! :woohoo:

Great info!! I need to start making my plan of attack! :thumbsup2 I was just wondering if Fantasyland & Toontown are the most packed? I'm thinking this is where everyone goes first with the younger children and then the area will die down later in the evening after the little ones leave early. Is this true? I'm thinking for me that Fantasyland should be the last place to go for the event. Do most people with young children stay the entire time or leave early? Any comments?
