Just back from MNSSHP 9/15

No free pic? Bummer! I love ours from last year! Thanks for posting this so quick, gosh I can't believe how fast time goes by! We too had a really amazing time at last years party and can't wait to do it again, hopefully next year! :goodvibes

Thank you for posting your update. I have been anxiously awaiting 9/15 to see how the first party went. Sounds like you had a great time!!

Thanks for the post! We can't wait to go on 10/12! This will be our first MNSSHP.

DD and I will be there on 10/12 too!!!!! They are so much fun. Glad to see the report was a good one!

WOW - JACK SPARROW. DD will be in heaven. We have not caught the Pirate Tutorial yet, but she is such a Jack Fan (me too - why is there never enough rum!)

Yeah - Bullseye... we have not see him since our vacation in 2003 before we moved her. It has always been one of my favorite pics of DD!

Mummy Eeyore--- now that is just too cute. We used to watch all the Halloween Pooh videos when DD was little.

It's going to be hard to wait until 10/12 --- I might just have to get tickets for 9/29 too!

No free pictures. 50 percent discount on 5x7 discount with photopass.

Well that's a shame, but at least they are giving a discount. DD always hated standing in line for that photo, so she will be happy. We have three years of Halloween & MVMCP pictures.

Jack Sparrow? Meet and Greet?! It's too good to be true!!! I cannot WAIT to go!!!

Thanks for reporting!

What candy was being given out? Last year was a lot of good stuff - M&M's, snickers, starburst, etc.

I can add some more characters to the list. The ones I know of are:
Toontown
*Alice
*Mad Hatter
*Walrus
*Tweedle Dee and Dum
*White Rabbit
*Queen of Hearts
*Little Einsteins
*Mickey
*Minnie
*Cinderella
*Prince Charming
*Princess Aurora
*Prince Phillip

Fantasyland
*Pooh
*Eeyore
*Tigger
*Piglet
*Snow White and 7 Dwarfs (pictures ONLY)

Adventureland
*Aladdin
*Jasmine
*Genie
*Abu
*Tarzan
*Jane (I think)
*Rafiki
*Timon
*Baloo
*King Louie

There was also a villian show at the castle, and a couple of dance parties with characters (one at Ariel's Grotto, I think, and one at Cosmic Rays)

Joanne - you are a gem - thank you so much. I really might have to go to the one on 9/29 now when HugsforEeyore is going. I dont' know if we can fit all these characters in one night! There are eight on the list that we don't have, and I took Snow White with the Dwarves when Tara was not with me one day......

That's it I'm buying tickets today!

The characters we saw were:

Captain Jack Sparrow, Wendy, Peter Pan, Smee & Captain Hook in Adventureland.

Woody, Jessie, Bullseye, Horace Horsecollar (really), several country bears, Brer Rabbit, Brer Bear, Brer Fox in Forntierland.

Some ghouls and ghosts in Liberty Square.

Chip and Dale, two of the mice from Cinderella, Eeyore, Tigger & Pooh in Fantasyland.

Stitch in Tomorrowland.

There were lots more, and many in "costume," but these were the only characters we visited with our son.
Did anyone see Goliath Gargoyle, Scrooge Mcduck or Clarabelle. With Horace being out I kind of expected that Clarabelle would be out. DisneyPhilip. can you help me out on that??? I thought they were usually together??

Thanks for the info :thumbsup2

TGM's review was in the forums. He said he was doing a detailed one sometime today.

Is Jack Sparrow doing autographs too??

Thanks for posting! I am so excited now!!!! All of the negative posts about what might happen were making me a little worried.

So, was it all the ladies who were in line for Captain Jack? pirate:

Ok, I know that some have already posted about the party, but I had to add my 2 cents worth since I was pretty worried about how things were going to go. I agree with the OP 100 percent. We were able to walk on any ride that we wanted to, it did rain there for a little bit which postponed the first parade. But I was happy that they did not cancel it all together!

The CMs were EVERYWHERE. I don't think that I have seen so many in the park before. They were on the lookout for bracelets, I was very happy to see Disney come through with what they were promising the guests with the MNSSHP phone calls....

Since we were 5 adults, and I was with people who had no intentions of getting pictures taken with the characters, :( I am surprised to hear they had so many fun ones out.....just not the same though without my kids.

We were able to enter the parks with just our party tickets at 5:30pm. The trick or treat bags were about half the size of the ones my family received in 2003, but it was no big deal at all. They were very generous with the candy, and it was good candy too! Chocolate candies, and snickers, etc etc.

The CMs were in great spirits. They were so much fun everywhere. I was very happy with this party, and the turnout.

Thanks for the update. Also, I am assuming that it is correct--no free picture. We are really dissapointed in that this year.

Can someone post a picture of the trick or treat bags? If I don't like them, I might bring my own (yes, I'm a little obsessive about my Disney planning!) ;)
