We chose Hojo for our first time staying at DL because I had read so much about it here and overall it was a very good place to stay. It was close enough to walk even at the end of the day. We had a Disney view room, which we had a good rate for, but I wouldn't pay more for it since there are so many trees in the way anyway. I was pleased at how large the rooms were and the beds are very comfy with plenty of pillows. The staff there were very helpful and friendly and while you can hear the noise from the freeway it didn't bother us at all...it was just a constant low hum and we really didn't notice it unless I made a point of trying to listen for it. We didn't even use the pool because my kids loved the new play area...even my DS 11 who I thought would be too old for it. This area will be a brig draw for HoJo as it is nice for parents of younger kids to have somewhere for the kids to get wet where the parents can lay and relax and not have to be in with the kids at all times. My only negatives to the whole stay were the hot tub closes at 7:00pm and while it's nice to have the extra sink outside of the bathroom, the bathroom itself is very small. Overall, a very good stay at HoJo!

Great to hear. We will be there Sept 6-12. I don't think that the highway noise would bother us at all. We live 5 mins from the Airport here in Atlanta and I don't even hear the planes landing or taking off now.:rolleyes1

The new area is not a pool, just a play area. The "garden pool" is still there, though, and it's really nice!

But there are many pix of the new area on HoJo's forums here.
