Just back from Geyser Gazin' (VWL)

Again found the VWL to be a sanctuary from our busy lives and the non stop action that the parks provide. Those of you who are planning to stay here are in for a very nice time. I was convinced that we would add on at BCV or BWV (resale) before this trip reminded us just how peaceful and grand a stay here can be. Pool hopping to BWV and SAB was great fun but after a few hours we were ready to go back to our home in the woods. Yes, the rooms are smaller than OKW and you can't walk to Epcot/MGM but for us the Disney magic of this setting makes it second to none.

We are looking forward to our first trip "home" to VWL in Feb, glad you had a great time. When we toured the VWL we were impressed, a noticable difference from the bustle at the BW. I am sure we will stay at the BW some year, but I think we will be very happy with the surroundings at the VWL.

With the often, tongue in cheek, debates that take place over which resort is the best, it's good to see your honest appraisal of why you like VWL.

That' what we all like about Disney. To some of us the spaciousness of OKW can't be beat. To others the convenience of BWV is tops. And you show that VWL can be the perfect choice yet for others.

We're all still one big family.

Great report Geyser Gazer! We joined at BWV and added on at VWL for the reasons in your report. We also liked adding a resort with better access to the Magic Kingdom. Now we have the best of both worlds.

as a BWV and OKW owner, I have to tell you that I visit VWL every time. Be it to swim or just walk around. It is very quiet and serene. Unlike OKW where it is just quiet (oh boy, I feel it coming), VWL also have some action. Glad you enjoyed your trip!
