I stayed at BWV from Tuesday-Sunday of Thanksgiving week. I was in three rooms (last minute resale with banked points), and found all three to be immaculate. I was never offered a room that was ready, despite checking in at 1:00 pm the first day and 7:30 am the other days. There were probably no ready rooms, with the resort at capacity.
The only fly in the ointment occured Thanksgiving morning. I was trying to pick up my Candlelight Processional badge at the holiday desk and was third in line when they opened (at 9:15, although I had been told the hours were 8am-8pm). The first man in line took 45 minutes to make dinner reservations for Thanksgiving. The cm gave him her undivided attention and never called for backup, although a second cm came out twice to assist the Very Important Man in line. She saw us standing there, shifting from foot to foot, but she chose to return to her office. After 45 minutes, she decided to man the holiday desk. I then had my errand completed in five minutes. I was a little annoyed that those of us who made our plans months in advance and only had to pick up the essential badge waited and waited and waited for the man who woke up and decided to eat Thanksgiving dinner. Surprise! It's on November 27th!
The parks were, of course, very crowded. I love Mickey's Philharmagic, the bus service from BWV was fine, and the 75 Mickey statues were lots of fun.
