We just got back this morning form our 7 day stay at POR w/ free dining! We had a great time. We ate tat the following...any questions I'd be ahppy to answer. Not a bad meal all week!!:)

Crystal Palace - breakfast
Boma - dinner
Play & Dine at Hollywood & Vine - breakfast
Kona - lunch
50's Prime Time - dinner
Le celliar - lunch
Hoop Dee Doo
Chef Mickey - dinner

Great meals and great service all week. Can't really complain about everything!

Thanks to all of you because I would never have gone to Le Cellliar or Kona without all the great reviews I've read on the boards!:)

It's tough to be back home!

Glad you had a great time! :)

How was Chef Mickey's for dinner, have only done breakfast before.

Yes, wondering the same about how the food was at dinner, i read some awful things about dinner. I do have it booked but was thinking about changing dinner. What are they serving recently?

although I have never eaten at Boma's, I have stayed at AKL and it was alwys busy there. My son, his fiance and I ate at chef mickey's for dinner this past August. They are both picky eaters. The salad bar was good (the peel and eat shrimp aren't like down the shore, but they weren't mushy like the type I have experienced at Cape May Buffet). The carving station was delish, roast beef, loin of pork and turkey. The smashed potatos were very good, bread selection was good, soup, and glazed carrots and string beans quite nice. Pasta selection was ok (hard to do on warming tables) the desserts were fabulous. You can't beat waving a napkin over your head with two twenty something kids who still believe in the mouse and LOVE DONALD!

I was excited to try Boma...it was good. I don't know if I would run back there...so many other places I'd like to try. My husband and the kids enjoyed it too.

Chef Mickey for dinner was tons of fun! It wa my boys favorite meal all week. I'd say the food was average, but the character interaction was GREAT! I had some salad, the peel & eat shrimp, some prime rib & ham from the carving station, and some awesome potatoes. I wasn't a fan of the entrees but my husband enjoyed them. I loved the individual sized cakes for dessert..YUM! Will definaitly go back!!!!:thumbsup2
