Who: Me and DBF (boyfriend)
Where: CBR

Day One:
Arrived at CBR and was put in Trinidad South (boo, because it's far away from the food court, yay, because we're right by the bus stop). Off to MGM around 1:00, saw Indiana Jones, did a few other attractions and wait, what is that rumble? Oh yes, the infamous thunderstorm/torrential downpour that would occur every day thereafter :)
Thank goodness I had been on these boards and bought some cheap BLUE ponchos and we were all set! Had ressies at Prime Time Cafe with Uncle Patrick as our server. I had the meatloaf (yum) and DBF had the pot roast and the PB&J milkshake (yummm).
After dinner, the rain was still coming down, and both of us had soaked shoes and socks, so we went back to the hotel to change and sleep got the best of us.

Day Two:
Went to AK - note: do NOT take the line on the Right! I don't know what kind of special line this was, but it was twice as short in length as the middle lines, and twice as long a wait. No worries though, because we got on the Safari with no wait at all. In fact, everything in the AK was no more than a 10 minute wait. Had lunch at the Rainforest and all the food was great! (I had a funky pizza and BF had the Blue Chicken sandwich).
Back to the hotel to rest. Wake up from the nap and couldn't see the parking lot the rain was coming down so hard! Got ready (had 7:30pm ressies at Boma's at the AKL).
Rain died down a bit and we got to the AKL at 6:30 because we wanted to see it. It was neat to see the animals up close, but I wasn't too impressed with the hotel itself.
Boma's was great! My favorite was the curry chicken soup. I had been hearing all about the zebra domes, but I didn't think they were that great...oh well, to each his own.

Day Three:
A day of Epcot. We did just about everything there, took it at a slow pace and again, no waits for anything.
Had fish and chips at UK, fancy desserts in France, Kaki Gori in Japan, sweet pecans in the US. The wait for Mission Space, when we were leaving, was 90 minutes, so decided to do that another day.
Back to the hotel to rest, then to the West Side for dinner at HOB - you have GOT to try the calimari appetizer, I don't care if you hate squid/octopus, it is awesome! DBF had the jambalaya and that was ok - not as good as N'awlins jambalaya! I had the Elwood chicken sandwich and loved it.
Outside, and there comes the downpour again! We ran across to the candy store to get out of the rain and make some purchases - mmmm...heath bar mickey pretzel, those marshmallows on a stick and rolled in oreos (who thinks up these things?), and a chocolate dipped strawberry.
Back to the busstop, where everyone is soaked, and on to the bus back to the hotel. Had our treats and off to bed, as I was feeling a bit sick (not from the food mind you).

Day Four:
Saved my favorite for our last full day there - the Magic Kingdom. But wait, what is that? Body aches, congestion...after the Jungle Cruise, I sent DBF on and I went back to the hotel to have some NyQuil and a 4-hour nap :( DBF came back as the rain started and we rested a bit more, then to Downtown Disney for dinner at the Rainforest Cafe - DBF had the Rasta Pasta and I had the ??? (a very good spicy chicken). We perused the shops for gifts for his kids and then called it a night as I still didn't feel so hot.

Day Five:
Going home at 2:30, so we hit Epcot first and DBF went on Mission Space. He will ride anything. Well, this is the first ride he will never go on again! He looked green coming out and thanked me for not letting him eat breakfast before going! :)
Took the monorail over to MK. Took the railroad over to Frontierland and it was off to my favorite - the Haunted Mansion! Then I tortured DBF with IASW :) Back to Main Street for some shopping and to the hotel to await Mears.

All in all, it was a good trip since we didn't do it commando. Had no plan of attack, leisurely went on rides, and found we had no waits/hassles.

Saw DeVine in AK and that was VERY cool! My favorite thing to eat was my daily mickey rice krispie bar. CBR was a nice resort, but not my favorite. Was sad we didn't do as much resort-hopping as I hoped too, but I wasn't feeling up to it. Wanted the DBF to see Boardwalk and Wilderness Lodge, but I guess we'll just have to go again!

and saw alot......we too love House of Blues.....I always get the shrimp po boys and they are excellent.......Hope you are feeling better after your trip home.......thanks so much for your "wet" trip report...I can feel the dampness setting in.....

Enjoyed reading your trip reports! (I like having it all on one thread.) Now I think I have to add a trip over to DTD for the candy store--sounds yummy!
