WE'RE BAAAAAACK!!!

Already I have feedback about the cards I handed out. PLEASE ignore the "Gary-" and "Gail-" at the beginning of our e-mail addresses!:(
It's gw.wilson@verizon.net for me and ga.wilson@verizon.net for Gail. Hopefully that will remove the confusion. MY BAD!!! I will modify the card IMMEDIATELY!;)

We were pleasantly suprised at the number of people we met that had read our posts on our previous thread but had not responded. Not to mention any names (Sheryl(sp?) and John), it was a pleasure meeting you all.

Because, YOU WERE ABLE TO JOIN THE REST OF OUR ROWDY BAND!!! I already miss Jeff and Fidelio in Off Beat. And nothings going to taste the same for a week after being spoiled by all the good food and our dining room staff.

We miss all of you (and you know who you are) already! :( Please check back on this thread real soon so we know you made it home safe and sound (We obviously did) and we can start to exchange photos and memories.

Also, if anybody out there who has questions to ask, feel free!!! We'll do our best to answer on a timely basis.

Take care and be sure to "Remember the Magic!!!":)

Hi! Glad you made it home safe and sound! We have been back 13 hours and already want to return to the "Magic"!!! We had 2 superb weeks on board that fabulous ship: and one of the highlights was our "chance" breakfast together! How spooky was that?!!! Will get photos sorted, as soon as laundry is done, and the jet-lag is over!!! Was so great to meet up. Sorry we didnt get to see everyone on Friday eve, but a certain husband had severe sunburn!!!! Mmmm, teach him to snorkel at Castaway Cay!!! Cant wait to hear all the stories of that "magical" vacation! Take Care. Nat xx

2 of my SIL's and hubbies were on the ship.....They are not DISers but they had a great time....glad you all found fun and friends....can't wait for our 4 day...

We're supposed to get 3 to 6 inches of snow today!!!

I WANT MY MAGIC!!!!

We're glad you made it home OK, Nat! Yes, our breakfast meeting was on the spooky side. It was meant to be! We have already decided we will cruise again on the Western itinerary, probably next year. We have a LOT of film to be developed and as soon as it is we will post them.

Stay warm!!!

By the way, the people in the picture in my signature are, from nearest to farthest, me (Gary), my wife Gail, Annie and her husband Randy.

We miss you all already!!!!! What a great time we had , didn't we???????? We made it home A-OK...and are now facing 20+ inches of snow. (poor Wayne...he's out there making the roads safe for everyone). I got a bonus day off since we are in a state of emergency in JOISEY!!!
GARY...I really enjoyed meeting you and Gail and surely will not forget our Dueling Pianos merriment. What a BLAST!!! Musical minds are dangerous together....after all, I won the "So you think you know your 70's and 80's music contest!!" I wonder how it would have turned out if you were there to compete against!!
ANNIE..I know she and Randy and Jacquelyn are not home yet, but the same sentiments to them. Putting faces to the ghost writing we do on this forum was a terriffic opportunity.
ANDIE, Mom and Dakota...I know we passed by a few times...glad to have met you.
CHRISSY and Tim (the shy other half!!!);) WHAT IN THE WORLD did you guys buy (or win) that was in that long, perfectly wrapped item Tim was carrying off The Magic????? Come on fess up!!!! Happy to have met you both!!!
AND so........when is our next cruise????!!!!!
Honestly, I have the cruise brochure in front of me as I type!!!
:) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) ;) :) :) :) :) :)

Hey everybody!

Laura, I bet we did look a little funny with that huge package on the way out. Remember in Treasure Ketch on the wall to the right of the check out there were all the posters and pictures? Well, we got the long picture that was framed in black that had all the Disney characters in it. It was the one on top. They didn't just have the prints, so we had to buy it framed and all. I saw the print at WDW and didn't buy it then, but when we saw it there, we just had to buy it. Thankfully it made it home safe and sound.

I can't wait to do that again! What a blast. We didn't get out a whole lot at night. I couldn't get used to the motion of the ocean or that time change. Sounds like you guys had a blast in Off Beat! Maybe next time I can get the hubby to break out of his shell a little bit more. We're an odd combo the two of us :)

Catch ya'll later!!! :)

Ahh...the memories :)

Movies were:

Lilo & Stitch
Chicago
My Big Fat Greek Wedding
The Recruit
Sweet Home Alabama
Treasure Planet
Spy Kids 2
Signs
Tuck Everlasting

I think that's all of them. I didn't have the time though! I really wanted to try and catch Chicago.

We "only" got 6 to 8 inches of snow, nothing compared to what Laura is dealing with!!!

And to think, three days ago we were on the beach!!!

We're thinking about doing the Western Carribean cruise March 2004.

From a cruise to shoveling, welcome back home!!! :)

Hello... from John & Cheryl... Just wanted to check-in and let you know what a great time we had meeting you all on the Disney Magic. If we knew how much fun we were to have meeting Gary & Gail we would have posted to this board prior to our cruise, instead of being just closet readers of the board.

We had the "pleasure?" to drive home from Florida to Albany during the mid-Atlantic "Blizzard." After driving 36 hours (normally 24) and unpacking the car I had the pleasure to shovel the driveway & as I post this message it is snowing to "beat-the-band" (12" is predicted).

It's hard to believe we were enjoying the sand & surf at Castaway Cay only 3 days ago...

Gary... Sign me up for that March cruise next year...

Meeting so many nice people added to our Disney cruise experience.

Awright John and Cheryl(SP?)!!! You're out of the closet!!!

We'll have to consult over the next cruise date.

Check this link for my pictures from my digital camera!

Magic Photos!!!

Very nice photos, looks like you had a GREAT time!!!;)

I'm sorry you had to return to snow but.....it looks like you had a great cruise....thx for sharing your pics.....

The Magic sails for the Western Caribbean on March 13 and 27 in 2004!

I would seriously consider doing it for my 50th birthday :( on September 28th but the magic is going into dry dock for two weeks beginning that week! :( :( We haven't settled on Plan B yet but a trip to California to see Disneyland is definitely an option! I've never been to the left coast. The closest I've been is Las Vegas.

The snow here has stopped and my driveway is finally clear. We'll see how long THAT lasts!

I've got 5, count'em 5 rolls of film to get developed! Can anybody beat that? I'm going to get picture CDs with them so I can post them on the web.

Also, does anyone do any instant messaging? I'm registered in AIM and MSN so if anyone want to trade ID's let me know.

Wow, did we have a nice week or what??? The snow is unreal...nearly 2 ft here in Johnstown, PA over the last 48 hours. I didn't make it to the film processor yot, maybe today!

Gary and Gail...you are the ultimate good time people! I am in awe of your ability to have fun and get people together! Sorry you're in the same snow belt as us!!

Chrissy...Thanks again for all of your pixie dust. You looked so pretty at Palo-hope you and Tim had as amazing a dinner on Valentine's Day as we did!

Annie-You can be on my "mouseketeer" team any day! You were a star!

Our highlights were meeting all of you, Palo, Nick's joke-telling debut at Dueling Pianos, our servers, Brenda in guest services (a gem), and my ultimate face and body spa experience!

Only low point was being briefly quarantined for a non-Norwalk tummy problem, but guest services bent over backwards to make us happy!

I'm looking forward to next time!!!!

Talk to you soon!
Renee,

Andi - The birthday thing is totally cool! We left a few  dollars on the magic, too. We use the Mai Tai cups from Castaway Cay as our dinner beverage cups! I hope you find your VW bug soon!

Chrissy - We still owe you boat drinks!!! We only left one can of Dr. Pepper on the ship. The Diet Pepsi was GONE!

Renee - Thanks for the kind words. We always seem to have a good time and make friends where ever we go.

I had a thought last night. (Uh oh!! Very Scary!) Would any of our cruise bunch from the northeast (and you know who you are!) be interested in a week-end get-together at a mutually agreed to, centrally located spot? If so, meeting place suggestions would be appreciated. Just off the top of my head I thought of Watkins Glen. I also need a better idea of where everybody is. I think I have most of you but a recap would help.

Stay warm and I hope you find a place to put all that snow!!!
Except for Chrissy!

Gary...

Just a thought... The Lake George / Saratoga region is beautiful in the summer. We could all take a ride together aboard the Mini-Ha-Ha (no joke) around Lake George...

Not quite as fantastic as The Disney Magic... But still nice...

(p.s. Cocktails are available while onboard)

John & Cheryl

Hey Gary, just hold onto that boat drink IOU until our next cruise ;) Hee hee.

No, no snow here. Chilly temps, but nothing like everybody else is getting. Just unfortunately having to get back to reality. Ah well....such is life :)
