Hello all,
I was lucky enough to spend 14 awesome days in the world this September from 9/4 - 9/17 @ the Polynesian. In the months/days leading up to the trip I was seeing a lot of mixed reviews of my favorite resort and was getting nervous about our upcoming stay. Well once again the Polynesian did not fail to impress me. The room was 3819 in Roratonga. It was cleaned and ready when we checked in at 12 and every day by the time we came back in the afternoon. We even got 6 towel animals. The mouse keeping staff was courteous and met our every request. We never waited more than 10 minutes for a bus or monorail over the two weeks. All the CM's I encountered were awesome and every thing you would expect them to be. We ate at all the restaurants on the resort grounds and had great food, great atmosphere, and great wait staff. The only problem we encountered was with Magical express taking 9 hours to get our luggage to the room!! Not a problem if we hadn't gotten stuck in a rainstorm in the MK so I spoke with the hotel manager at the Polynesian and he checked the system and noted that our luggage was tagged as received and just kept getting left at the airport. We were given a $200 credit for the inconvenience. I wasn't looking for a credit just wanted an update on our luggage. I simply can not speak highly enough about the Polynesian and there cm's.
