Our third trip to The food and wine festival was a lot of fun. The Dining plan really got in the way of our festival enjoyment. (Well, that and all the rain). Previous to this trip, my wife and I were on a low carb diet (less than 50g/day) designated by our doctor for 12 weeks. During the trip, we trashed the diet just by having orange juice (27g) during breakfast.. We track our weight on Sunday's and I will know tomorrow what the real damage is.
The "for what it is worth" part is that I wore a pedometer each day. On an average day, we walked 10.5 miles. The highest day we visited 2 parks plus Downtown Disney and clocked 14.8 miles. I was suprised by this and I wonder if anyone else has logged how much walking they did on an average WDW trip?
Now, if I could only be motivated or had the time to walk this much on my treadmill daily, I would be happy.

). Anyway, 11 miles a day, according to how my feet feel at the end of the vacation, that sounds about right!!
But, whatever way you look at it, the walking is a good benefit, whether it's continuous or not.
