To continue....

Narcooses - The last time I visited Narcooses I was disappointed. This time was somewhat better, although my DS swears he had one of the best steaks he ever had. Starters included rock shrimp (He thought it was great), lobster chowder (good all around), and butternut squash and crab chowder (She liked it, I didn't). Entrees included striped bass (excellent), steak (he's still raving), chicken breast (licked their plates), shrimp and fettucini pasta (ho hum). I will say that the strawberry shortcake is to die for. The food and service here is good though not exceptional for the price. I would, however, go back just to be able to walk outside to the deck and watch the MK fireworks.

Boma - Everyone loves Boma. The food, the atmosphere and the service. You would be hard pressed to find a selection of food like this anywhere in the country. It was lots of fun to sample the African food, but there was plenty of traditional food available also. For an all you can eat buffet at a reasonable price, this is the place to go!

Kona Cafe - Although I had read glowing reports about Kona, we just did not like it for dinner. It seemed that everything was too sweet...spices and sauces that just didn't work. I know lots of people love this place, but I would not go back. However, those desserts looked incredible. We were planning to go back later for dessert, but never made it. Next time we'll schedule desserts only.

Fulton's Crab House - Too expensive for just "ok" food. If you're craving crab legs and have a good appetite, this is the place to go. Otherwise, I would suggest you save your money and spend it at another restaurant.

Alfredo's of Rome - Once again, being Italian, I know what I want in Italian food. Alfredo's did not disappoint! Everything from their bread to their desserts is authentic and well prepared. We shared the antipasto platter (great!) and, again, tomato/mozzarella. Entrees included the pasta sampler (fettucini alfredo, gnocchi with tomato sauce and lasagna)--perfect! - pizzas, veal and calamari. Dessert was the sampler. Everything here was outstanding...so much so that we returned for lunch. If you don't want to spend the money for dinner, do yourself a favor and try it for lunch. The menu is almost identical and the prices are cheaper. You'll be happy you went.

More great reviews!

I find that my favorites at Kona are the appetizers and desserts. While our fish dinner entrees were really good, our lunch entrees were just OK.

I have to agree about Boma! Great all around!

Agree w/Krissalee. Kona is strong w/ the appetizers/desserts. Love the Crab Cakes, Pot Stickers, Sticky Wings and the kids love the Chicken Soup. And those desserts are simply works of art. We really never had a bad meal there, but some entrees just don't hit the spot. They did away with a fish dish several years ago (I think it was halibut) that DS still raves about.

Thanks for sharing ~ Wonderful reviews!!!!

Thanks for more great reviews. We ate at Alfredo's last year and did not like it at all. That is what makes these boards so great is the fact you get so many different reviews for the same restaurants.
