We had to scramble after Jeanne foiled our Vero Beach getaway. There were no studios available anywhere for our first 2 nights so we opted for CBR via Disney collection. While it wasn't a great point value, we were greatful to have that option rather than canceling our vacation or spending more cash than we had intended. It had been 12 years since my wife and I had stayed at CBR and while we were impressed with the theming landscaping, we missed a bit of the convenience and comfort that even a studio provides. We pool hopped to our beloved Wilderness Lodge and hot tubbed in the rain one morning. We also enoyed a sunny afternoon at SSR's quiet pool, prefering this to the main pool because of the music selection. The themed pool features techno dance music (which reminded us of the polyestered Saturday Night Live guy's who would always bob their heads to one side), while the quiet pool played cool jazz, much more appropriate to the "casual elegance" of resort itself.
We liked the clean lines of SSR, and were able tour the units as well as attend the members update (not much that dis'ers don't already know). We enjoyed OKW, never met a DVC resort we didn't like. We did both water parks, pleasure island, and MNSSHP. Happy to answer any questions.
