We just got back from our 7 day visit (July 11th thru 18th). Any questions?

Did WDW assign finger scans to your tickets? I was told by a WDW operator that they are requiring finger scans for ALL tickets, not just APs. I'm wondering if she's bluffing or if it's being implemented now?

Two of the people in our group need hoppers but not the last day so we plan to supplement our existing hoppers with their last day. I'm just trying to find out if this is doable or a worthless option.

Any insight?

We had AP's so we had to do the finger scan. However, the people in front of us that had Hoppers ,or any other ticket, did not have to have their fingers scaned. Hope that helps....

How were the crowds this week? I know they get a lot of tour groups in July. We are due to leave in 9 days. We can not wait. Did you do any EE at the parks? If so how did that go?

Thanks for the info.

The crowds got heavy at MK and EPCOT in the afternoons (around 2:00). We just went to another park or took our mid-day break. We did the opposite of EE. This was by far the best approach during our stay. We were able to complete all the major attractions in the a.m. before the crowds got to large. A note about the tour groups: Pay attention to FP entry, a time or two a tour group got infront of us and the wait went from 10 minutes to 30. We learned to return to our FP attraction about 30 minutes after our allocated time (i.e., if our fast past was between 2:30-3:30, we would return to ride at 3:00) this worked well in all parks during our stay.......
