Just got back last night and here are some thoughts.

Philharmagic is SPECTACULAR. You have to see it.

Mission Space: I have 3 reasons not to go on this. Inner ear problems, can't do spinners and mild claustrophobia. Loved the ride. The take off is incredible. The ride is awesome. DW was waiting while I went on and saw some sickies. Not sure I would go on again.

Candelight Processional. The best event of the week. This was a first time thing for us. We saw Miss America. She was ok and now we have a level to comapre to.

MVMCP. Nothing like 1996. Pretty much a waste of time.

Wishes. Saw this three times. One from the bridge in Frontierland, once from Narcoosees and once from Ohana. All give a different look with Ohana being the best. Still haven't heard the music yetsince all we heard on the bridge was cheerleaders and Splash Mountain music and the music isn't piped into the restaurants.

Cheerleaders should not be allowed in groups of more then one. The were on the whole quite obnoxious. I'm just not sure who is worse the cheerleaders or the cheer parents.

Weather was great. I wore shorts all week but did wear a jacket or sweatshirt some mornings.

Crowds were wierd. Looked like more people but Monday-Friday the ride waits weren't bad. 15 Minute wait for Pooh, 20 minute fo Space Mountain and it was actrually a walkon, 5 minutes for Mission Space.

All in all it was another great trip.

313 days and counting.

Sounds like you had a great time! Going in 3+ weeks. I am really hoping for good weather. I don't even care if it rains--I just don't want it to be COLD rain!!! I don't mind pants and sweatshirts, but I want to be able to go on Splash Mountain and not FREEZE the rest of the day!! Welcome back to the "real" world!!!

Thanks for the update on WDW! We leave in 12 days!

Welocme back!! Sounds like a great trip. I am just wondering, why did you think MVMCP did not compare to year's past? I am still wondering if I should have spent the extra $$ for this...but of course it is too late now:-)

Thank you

We also just got back, and the crowds seemed to get lighter after 12-5. I agree about MVMCP, not a total waste, but not nearly as great as in 1999 or 1997. At least 2 of the "special " shows could be seen during regular park hours, and a comparision of the number of shows with the previous visits (1999 & 1997) indicates at least 2 less this year. We had a good time, but next year (yes, plans already in the works) we may skip MVMCP and attend the CP at least 3 times, instead of the 2 this year.

Welcome back.....its tough coming home..........I'm lookiing forward to Philharmagic, I've heard so many wonderful things about this!
Glad you have a great trip.

That sums it up.

I think in the early days it was not as publicized or talked about on the internet. It just wasn't what it was.
