Just back from a 5 day trip. We stayed at the Sheraton Park hotel. It was a 15 minute walk at a good pace, and very hot, so we did not go back to the hotel midday at all.
It was hot! We bought a mister fan for $19 and that helped a lot. We got our FPs for Frozen at 9:51am and they had just changed from the 1:30 show to the 4pm show. We had to line up 30 mins ahead of time, even with the FP, to see Frozen. It was very good!
We got FPs for Soarin' twice -- also very good. My DD and her friends went on Ariel's ride and got stuck and had to be walked out. Upside is that the CMs gave everyone a FP for 6 people for any ride in either park except for Space Mtn. When she went on Calif Screamin', it also broke down right after she got in the car and strapped in, and again got another FP for 6 people. At least she wasn't actually on the ride, because they had to evacuate people who were in cars on the track on the top.
They did not have a daytime parade during the week -- only the night parades. We accidentally saw half of it on Sunday when we arrived and planned to see it again during the week but were very disappointed when told it's only on the weekends.
Bag check was usually pretty quick and there are metal detectors for everyone.
Even though we didn't go to the parks til about 10am each day, we still managed to see everything. The only line that was more than 30 mins was for Grizzly River Rapids in the middle of the day. Other than that, we never waited more than 30 mins for anything.
That's all I can think of for now. Let me know if you have questions.
