Just Back - 34 Hour Trip 10/21-10/23

Well, just got back from my second solo trip. When I bought an AP at the end of August, the intent was to go back with my daughters in May 2018 to make the AP worthwhile. Well, I've already made two solo trips since then, with two more scheduled in Feb and Mar and the Dad/Daughters trip in May.

Arrived Sat 10/21 at 7:45pm and took Lyft to MK. WOW it was busy! Did the following with all FP+ reserved after getting in the park:
Happily Ever After
Haunted Mansion
Pirates of the Caribbean x 2
Peter Pan's Flight
It's a Small World x 2
Voyage of the Little Mermaid x 2
Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
Lots of PhotoPass pics at castle and Main Street USA
Ate at Casey's Corner
Checked into my room at AS Sports around 1:30am

Sun 10/22
Got to Animal Kingdom at 8:45
Walked on to Navi River Journey w/ 0 wait
NRJ again with 10 minute wait
Pictures around Pandora
Ate at Satuli Canteen - Chicken bowl was very good
NRJ w/ FP+ - Line was 95 minutes but looked even longer
Kali River Rapids FP+
Kilimanjaro Safari FP+
Love the elephant ear from Kusafiri and that hidden seating area
Took bus to the Poly around 12:45
From 1:30pm-12:30am, did the following at MK/MNSSHP:
Pirates x 3
Haunted Mansion x 2
Country Bears x 2
Great Moments in History (both shows)
Peter Pan
Jungle Skipper Canteen Restaurant - Whole fried fish was great and service extra punny
Buzz Lightyear Ranger Spin x 3
Peoplemover
Pictures with Tweedle Dee, Dum and Queen of Hearts
Pics with Cinderella and Elena
Two Candy Stops
Both parade showings - I've said it before and will say it again, the Evil Queen on the backside of the final float is soooo good and by far my favorite. Fantastic energy and emotion.

Took a bus back to All Star Sports (not sure why) and had Lyft pick me up there at 1:45am and took me to airport where I sat in a chair until my 5:30 flight to make it back in time for work this morning in Wisconsin. Tired but worth it to see one more party.
Seems like everyone says it but I'll repeat again, REFRESH, REFRESH, REFRESH on FP+.

I took a very similar solo trip back in August. Even stayed at All Star Sports! This was my first year getting an AP, too. Boy, I can see how that makes these extra trips tempting...

It looks like you got a ton done in spite of the heavy crowds. I'm glad you enjoyed the party so much! I have yet to make it down for one.

That AP is dangerous and you absolutely have to get down for MNSSHP next year. I was so wishy-washy on the party before going in late August. It's incredibly fun and unique.

I'm afraid my kids would never forgive me if I did. I really wish we'd done it together as a family when they could still miss some school days. Now they're in high school and middle school, and because their school starts at the end of August, it makes things very difficult.

Maybe I can think of something, though. Anyway, I'm really happy you had such a fun trip and don't mind going solo! It's a different kind of trip, but I liked the freedom of it, too.

I'm currently trying to talk my husband into letting me do a quick trip like this to see Kurt Russell in the Candlelight Processional, and maybe do MVMCP.

I'd have to stay offsite since there aren't rooms available onsite. So far he's not going for it and I may have to have surgery anyway and couldn't go if that happens but it's still fun to think about.
