YAY!

HEA Dessert Party - Plaza Garden Viewing - worth the cost to all of us; yummy desserts; efficient, friendly CMs; excellent view of fireworks & castle (leaned against the back railing); just wish people would stop taking video of the whole darn thing (SO unnecessary - just look at it with your naked eye and look it up on YouTube when you get home!!); projections are amazing as are the fireworks; didn't bring a tear to my eye as Wishes did, but still good.

FP+ - With no rope droppers in our group, the FP were essential; used them for all the headliners (SpM, HM, Buzz, BTMRR, 7DMT); 4th & 5th FP worked early in our trip - didn't work after spring breakers arrived - impossible to get 7DMT or Buzz.

The Train - a great respite when our feet got tired; needs some TLC and updating along the route - still fun though.

Muppets Great Moments in History - a short, fun show

HM - love this ride and the detailed queue; sometimes there are great CMs who really get into their parts (we got one this trip who made us all laugh at her funny lines and deadpan delivery).

The Plaza & Pecos Bill's - I liked the sandwich options at the former, DH liked the tacos at the latter (I hate the craziness of that place, but suffer through).

Mickey's Philharmagic - a good option when it's raining, cute show, lots of seating.

7DMT - the coaster riders in our group marveled at how smooth this ride is, theming is fun.

NAY ~
Buzz Lightyear - This ride needs a refurb at best, an update would be better

Tomorrowland People Mover - see above; love the respite from the crowds but couldn't it be a little more entertaining by eliminating blank walls (no, I don't mean add billboards - some colored lighting or holograms would be nice)?

Fantasyland traffic flow - CM's were overwhelmed, holding signs showing the end of FP lines in the middle of the paths; pack your patience and hold small children by the hand - it's scary.

Once Upon A Time show - Just didn't measure up for us, esp. after HEA.

MK was our least favorite park this trip due to crowds, lack of stuff that interested us (example: dance party is not our thing), and lack of that 'Disney magic' (feel bad for the CMs as they all seemed unhappy in their jobs). Obviously if we'd had kids with us, their excitement may have added to ours.

It seems like overall there may be more pro's than con's on your list. I am glad you enjoyed HEA/Dessert Party! I am thinking about doing it and leaning toward it, as I only see generally positive reviews.

For me, while I love MK, it is generally not my favorite, as it seems to always be the most crowded. As you indicate, I think some of it does lean a little more toward being child friendly (such as much of Fantasyland).

Also, your post provides a reminder to try the Train. It is often so overlooked!!

I may have to ask you to step outside . . . . Please don't mess with my People Mover!

Thanks for sharing. Hope to see your trip yays and nays for the other parks!

MK is my favorite park by far.
Love Buzz and People Mover.
HATE that old Fantasyland corridor during busy times. You're right, it's truly scary! So glad we don't have littles to keep hold of through there.

I have to agree with the people mover...I am really SURPRISED that the imagineers haven't thought of putting in projection map technology inside the blank walls area?

I have to agree with you about the crowds. We went the first week of March and I was shocked by the scary crowd. We also didn't have any children with us this trip but the MK was our least popular park by far.

I totally agree with you on Buzz. I don't enjoy that ride at all. The PeopleMover however is life! I personally like the blank areas. For me, it gives a moment of calm especially since Disney can be so visually stimulating. I may just be weird but I kinda welcome the blankness sometimes haha.

With you on Buzz as well. My finger actually starts hurting by the end of the ride. It just feels dated and kind of random. Our kids enjoy TSMM about a thousand times more. Me, too.

I forgot to mention the Muppets show in my review! I loved this so much!! It honestly cracked me up. Sam the Eagle is hilarious, and so is Miss Piggy.

It feels kind of sacrilegious to say this, but MK was my least favorite park this time as well. The park is harder to get into as an offsite guest, and the crowds are almost always dense, except right after RD. Pirates being in refurbishment didn't help. Nor did the ride breakdowns.

Great review! Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for your review. Was on the fence about booking the HEA Dessert Party with Plaza Garden viewing, but am pulling the trigger based on your review. I think my DD7 will love it.

MK is probably our least favorite park, it was even when my son was a toddler. I agree about Buzz, I can't ever tell if I've even hit anything. I do enjoy Peoplemover but my son just puts up with it. We tried the dessert party way back when it first started and it was just in the pavilion and before HEA. We didn't like it but my son nor I are huge sweet eaters, they assigned tables but allowed people to get up and stand at the rail. Our table was just in front of the rail so we couldn't see around people. Love the train and the muppets as well.

Buzz is SO outdated and it feels so slow and lags compared to TSMM. IT used to be a favorite, but I wouldn't care if they just got rid of it at this point. We were able to add it as a fifth fast pass twice last week though.

PeopleMOver is a fave of mine. They could add stuff and it wouldn't bother me, but I like it how it is as well.
