Hello! We just returned home after a wonderful trip this past week. Crowds were very manageable and the weather was great! Some highlights:
-Hollywood Studios Early Morning Magic was worth it. We rode TSMM three times in a row first and the met Buzz and Woody. Me and the baby met Minnie and Mickey while DH and older DS went on Star Tours. We did all this by about 8:50 and then just decided to have some breakfast (which was good). I would definitely recommend it. We did it on Saturday 12/17 which was a busy day at HS and it allowed us to get a lot accomplished early and leave around 1 for some pool relaxation time.
-BOG PPO was a wonderful strategy as well. We had an 8:20 reservation but got into MK at 7:45 and in and out of BOG by 8:25ish. The line was forming for 7DMT at that point but since we had a FP later in the day we waited for Peter Pan and walked right on. We then did HM, SW and Voyage of LM all by 9:45. It was great! I was able to change our BOG time from 8:40 to 8:20 the night before so definitely check for ADRs opening up until the night before if you want to get a jump on rides.
-MK on party days worked great for us we did two (13th and 15th) and on the 15th I was able to make 4th, 5th & 6th FP for HM, Splash Mtn and BTMRR (this was our PPO day but our third FP wasn't even until about 1:20 I believe).
-I just have to add that the baby care centers were lifesavers. The have changing tables, high chairs and a room for nursing moms. Definitely an oasis amid the chaos of the parks that I think many babies and parents need.
All in all we had a great trip and it was a good week to go crowds-wise. If you happen to have any questions please feel free to ask.
