we stayed in a couple of different rooms last week....but the two bedroom we stayed in was also on the fifth floor (room 545-543)....our view sounded almost identical to yours...we loved it!!.....we also stayed in room 559....which had a spectacular view of spaceship earth.

gmboy95- you left the room in great shape- we're in 545!

This room does have a view of the American Pavilion, but no view of Illuminations. We can see the light flashes with each firework explosion and can certainly hear the sounds, but do not have a view of the sky above the barges.

BCVOWNER2002- the safe is large enough to hold a laptop. It measures about 12" x 20" and is deep enough.

As in all WDW resort rooms, there is a dataport on the phone which allows a laptop to be connected. You will need an access number (I'm using netzero). Make sure it's a local call. Members are charged .35 per local call.

We've had afternoon thunderstorms each day with some heavy amounts of rain.

I'm planning to attend the BWV member update on Thursday and hope to get some more info about the Saratoga Resort project. I'm also going to explore the site a bit to see what has been accomplished thus far.

ncligs- My favorite DVC resort is whichever one I'm staying in (right now, my favorite is BCV ), since I'm the only one to blame if I don't like it. We have enjoyed each resort and would be happy to stay in each one again. There has been something unique and individual about every one and I would not be ashamed to recommend any of these resorts to a friend or family member.

Thanks for the report. When I toured in June, my guide said the safe was large enough but since I never saw it I couldn't say for sure when the question was posed a month or so ago. Thanks for clearing up this pending question.

Thanks for the BCV report. I like your answer as to which resort is your favorite. I had a hard time deciding which one I would like to stay the most, and I ended up buying points in 4 different resorts, yet my family has not stayed in any one of them.

I truly hope in several years, once we stayed in all of these, I could tell other people what you just said.
