of CM's who have incorrect information, or at least an example of inconsistency.

So I called today to do some planning research on how I might use my Free QSDP PIN that's good through August 14. I asked the CM, Pearl, if my stay needed to conclude by the 14th, or if I just needed to check in by that date. She said "Let me check on that for you." Waited about thirty seconds, and then she returned to say, "Your stay must conclude by the 14th." I questioned it multiple times to be sure she was giving me correct info. Finished the call making no reservation.

Got online, entered my pin code, set an arrival date of August 9, and of course found that I had no trouble booking through August 23.....

I don't know why I find it so aggravating. I know going into the phone call that I know more than the CM's do!! But it still bugs me......:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:
 
Same thing happened to me. Called last night and was told no, can't extend it (this was with the visa offer). I knew better, or at least to try again. I called back this morning and the CM said she didn't know, but she'd try it. And guess what, it WORKED! That was checking in on the last day of the promo.
 

My Mom got a pin code through the mail. How can I check on-line since there's no place to put a pin?
 
You have to have the original email that included the PIN. There's a link in it.

I have four pin code emails, but not one link for reservations - maybe it is in the newer ones? Mine are all still valid as I booked and changed the reservation, but came in November.

There's nothing toward the bottom that says "Book Now" followed by information about how to call and book? At first, I didn't recognize it as a link; I thought it was just the "intro" to the info about booking by phone.

Okay -checked again, but on mine it only has a phone number and says to either "call this number or your Travel Agent". Weird. I'm thinking maybe b/c the ones I have came the end of last yr, maybe the newer one have the link. It's okay, all booked. Thanks! :thumbsup2

This is what mine says, and I just received it last week.

Oh! I think I must not have been clear. I meant to say that my email offer (20/30/40 PIN) that came just last week reads just the same as yours, with NO LINK for online booking at all. :(

It's okay though, I just called and booked what I needed, so all is well. :thumbsup2

Ohh!!! Went right over my head....not hard to do these days. :confused3

Glad you are all booked too! When and when? We're returning to the Polynesian early December. :)

Are you sure you have the same pin code deal for the entire trip? They will let you book as many days that you want [subject to availability of course] but might only let you have the pin code deal up through the 14th. Can you check online what you are getting for the days after the 14th? I just don't want you to have any unpleasant surprises when you arrive at WDW.

It bugs you because they should know what they are talking about....that is their job!!!!! What if someone was calling for the first time and given wrong info, they would not know any different!

Went over all the pricing, and yes, the online system allowed me to apply the free QSDP for the entire length of our stay, despite what the CM told me on the phone.

Still hoping for full FD, though, in which case we'll adjust our dates to correspond. Just hope the airfare doesn't go up much more. It's already gone up $300 for our family of four in the last two weeks!!:scared1::scared1::scared1:
