I am not into big trip reports but wanted to tell you all just a couple of nice things.
We ran into so many wonderful CM's. Everyone was friendly and talkative.
My DH and I had our Happy Anniversary buttons on and everyone said Happy Anniversary to us.
Best of all--just watching my older kids (23, 15 and 12), having a great time together, and having fun watching the little kids.
We were waiting in line for Mary Poppins and the sweetest thing happened.
There was a little girl, about 7, who had just seen Mary. She walked away with the biggest smile on her face and said, "Mom, I just met the REAL Mary Poppins and she said goodbye to me!" Well, everyone around us smiled and giggled a little at her. I looked at her dad and said, "This is what it is all about." I just loved that moment.
When we finally got to Mary Poppins (my DD and I), Mary noticed my Happy Anniversary pin. She inquired as to where my DH was and I showed her.
My DH rolled his eyes at us, he was standing across the walkway.
She looked at him and said, "Hurry along then, spit-spot!" I just smiled and thought here we go, this is gonna be a great day. I don't know "who" that Mary was, but she was great!!
That is the kind of week we had. Met people from all around us here in Ohio, met a lot of people from England. In general, this was the best vacation in WDW ever!
It still has the magic. I will tell you this, we went to Universal one day and my Dh was disappointed. He said, "This is no Disney!" I had to agree.
I am just a Disney kind of girl.
For all of those about to go...have a wonderful time...take you time, enjoy the parks. This was the first time I really slowed down to see some out the way things.
