Jurassic Park coaster

Was watching a Tim Tracker coaster update yesterday with dh. He says he will ride it once. And probably only once. I sure hope they set up a single rider line when COVID restrictions lift, because it looks amazing, and I can't wait to ride it.

I’ll go once. I used to love coasters, but I get nauseous now. But I would like to experience it once, at least. My kids will love it!

keep in mind this coaster will have a height requirement of 54 inches which means if your kid isnt tall enough for hulk they will not be tall enough for this coaster either

this takes the crown from hulk as being the fastest coaster at universal also now with velocicoaster universal orlando has one of the best coaster collection on the planet

I think this might be the best new attraction in Orlando next year. The only disappointing thing for me is the lack of excitement on this board now that it's been announced. It was posted in the news roundup and the main thread and all it got was crickets.

honestly disney is likely in panic mode right now with this coaster hitting orlando

But wouldn't there be different demographics for this coaster and the rides Disney typically has? I'm not sure how much this ride would syphon from the Disney crowd. Of course, there's some overlap- I'm not saying there wouldn't be any impact, of course.
Speculative thought: When Hulk opened, was there an impact to Disney operations?

I'd agree that this ride specifically wont syphon from Disney all that much - but I do think it just adds to the bleeding.
Add in how poorly Disney has done with reopening compared to Universal (IMO) and the Hagrid's coaster hype and it wont help Disney.
If they add Nintendo to Universal Studios that will be a big draw.

It will definitely be a single rider line attraction due to the fact that it is a thrill seeking attraction, however even if COVID wasn't a factor it wouldn't be opening the single rider line for quite sometime after the attraction has been in operation for a little bit, as it always has been with the other attractions.

I'm actually quite happy about the lack of restraints. One of the downsides to rollercoasters with them is I feel you bang your head a lot. You can hold it back against the headrest which they always suggest and helps a little, but to me, it seems no matter how hard I try to keep it pressed back I have a headache after getting off those coasters. Also, I think the lack of shoulder restraints probably adds a little more element of thrill.

Now that you mention it, most of my not-riding-that-ever-again list of coasters involve shoulder restraints or going upside down! Ha. I make an exception for Forbidden Journey, for some reason. Hmmmmm.

Oh well, I'm still doing this thing AND I WILL LOVE IT. I hope. Hagrid's is my favorite ride ever, and this looks similar (same company/materials, right?).
