I love the cheesiness of the whole ride. It is terrible for adults but the children love it.
I was going to say I only really like it at night!I like it okay during the day. Yes, it's hokey, but it has a certain charm.
At night, it's a different story. I love it at night.
No doubt. I think it all depends on the skipper. We had one that was absolutely hilarious. He had the whole boat lol. Sometimes you get one that's lackluster but either way you always expect the corny jokes! Like you said...what would you be left with?Personally, I can't imagine the ride without the Catskills stand-up routine. What would you be left with? A narrated trip through a plastic jungle? Ugh! Let me point out a few of my favorite jokes.......There's one. And over there is another one.
I don't see a 6 year old getting any of the jokes, but like PP said, they'll appreciate the scenes. I think you'd need to hit at least 10 before you get most of them. Are the puns made for adults or would a 6 year old find them funny? Or would they go over their heads?
We got a new joke last time and my parents are still talking about it, over a year later!I love it! I know there are going to be non stop jokes and they use the same ones so often that we usually say them with the skipper! that's part of what makes it fun for me! I love the cornyness of it all! gotta do it AT LEAST once while we are there. If you get REALLY lucky, they will come up with a joke you haven't heard before! YAY!
I also love the Weird Al Skipper Dan song
Did I read somewhere that the Jingle Cruise is not at WDW, too? If you have seen it, does it add much to the experience?
