What is the differences in the weather between our last trip (June 13-23rd) which was hot and raining... versus late Sept/first week of Oct?
Is it the same about? If there are any differences in weather- let me know what you have experienced?

I'm wondering will it be as rainy- or more so?
Will it be as hot?
Will the evenings cool off at all? They did NOT cool off at all in June and I'd rather not bother packing sweatshirts, jackets and pants for all of us if it's not going to cool off then either!

i was there this past june (the first week) and was there last year in oct. oct was much better weather (and crowd wise). a lot milder, still hot, but not oppressive, and much much lower humidity. i pretty much worse shorts the entire time, dont really remember needing pants at all.

The weather will be similar. You will have more opportunity for hurricanes in Sept/Oct than in June, although the height of the season is Sept 10th. Late Sept/early Oct the chances will be slightly lower.

Hot/humid until the mid to end of October.

Never been in June--.
Always go in Sept/Oct. Weather hot, but not unbearably so. Shorts fine day and night. Never had a hurricane (in Florida) impact us yet, and we've been going in Sept since 1975.
Always a "chance" of t-storms, but most days it dosen't rain at all. If it does, usually briefly, then clears.
Crowds manageable.
Essentially--a fine time to go to WDW!!

We usually go in Sept....never been there in June so I can't compare, but my SIL just returned from a June trip and said is was unbearable. September is hot, but I would never say unbearable. Maybe the height of the afternoon is the worst, but usually you have an afternoon rain to cool thing down. We've only experienced a couple times of torrential downpours that lasted all day and that was from either a tropical storm or remnants from a hurricane.

I'd think, you could leave the jackets and pants at home until atleast mid October. Just check the weather channel before you leave to be sure. We went the first week in Dec 03 and FL was having a major cold snap. I packed mostly shorts so we ended up living in the same outfits most of the week.

Well, I guess it's all opinion...but I lived in Orlando for 5 years and I'd say there's very little difference between June weather and September weather. Hot, humid, rain. That pretty much sums it up. Mid-October seems to be the changing point. Much less humid from then on.

According to the chart Here, the averages are:

June...91 high / 72 low...7.3 inches rain
September...90 high / 72 low...6.0 inches rain
October...85 high / 65 low...2.4 inches rain

I live in Florida. We went in June of 2004. Now I remember why I didn't go before then. We usually go in October. The weather is much cooler, and the crowds are more manageable. Will never go in June again!!
