HI WE ARE DEBATING BETWEEN JUNE AND MAY FOR OUR NEXT TRIP DOES ANYBODY HAVE ANY PAST EXPERIANCES WITH THESE TIMES. PLUSSES , MINUSES :confused3

Well, the main difference is, once you get to Memorial Day the crowds get bigger each week. Also, the weather is getting hotter each week.

If you want smaller crowds and reasonably warm weather (usually) then I'd suggest early May. June will be much more crowded than May.

JUNE: Hot and crowded!!!

MAY: Hot, but not CRAZY HOT!!! Manageable crowds!! May is the BEST time to visit!! :cheer2: Pssssst!! Don't tell anyone! :earboy2:

I agree May is better and not as crowded since kids are still in school.

There are sections of the country where kids start school in early-mid August and get out by mid-May. So that wouldn't really tweak my decision either way.

I have been to WDW in May and June. I much prefer May. Here's why:

~Weather - warm, but not generally unbearable.
~Flower & Garden Festival - nice thing to have a special event when you are there.
~ Star Wars Weekends (if they are continuing) start in May

I have been in June twice. Both times, it's been very hot and humid. I am from MN. I don't do hot AND humid well. We came over June 7 once for my DH's b-day and it was ok. We were just there June 22-27 because I had earned a trip for free and those were the dates (no choice). NEVER AGAIN! I will take the money before I take the trip if my company does this in June again. It was so hot and humid...ick ick ick. And the crowds were evident. It wasn't wall to wall people but wait times were long a lot earlier in the day than I expected, even Fast Pass returns were a little ridiculous in my opinion.

If you can swing May...take it.

We always go in May and it's just perfect. We try and hit it before Memorial Day (once our last weekend was Memorial Day weekend and it was absolutely insane!) The weather is hot, but not humid (mostly) - so it's ideal. We've also had great luck with very little to no rain (one trip in 2000 no rain, in 2003 it rained twice for about 15 minutes).

May! Not as hot as June and most FL schools let out the last week of May so it will be more crowded in June.
