Happy Spring too!

Tomar, sorry about the snow. It went through here the last 2 nites but did accumulate much. But the wind chill here today 0. OMG coldest day all winter. Ugh. So we are sending our artic breeze east > LOOK OUT! The weird part it is the 1st day its actually sunny and very pretty out.

RMHM, Your trip is soon too!

We are starting our final planning too. Just worked on my ADR's and plans. Checking the list twice > just in case.

EE22, thanks for the ap info. She caught it on tg > about the ap's bracelete's coming soon. Looks like go to epcot > and they have a special area to convert them to the "new" bracelete thing.

mky...gotta give Tomar credit for the wristbands. She alerted me to it. My two friends from here thank her too as they are going in April/May timeframe.

I wonder what people will do that don't visit during that time.
Tomar will know again as she will be there after they start that.

Hi everyone!

We are back from the Dark Side...they didn't have cookies....

The Harry Potter area was pretty cool but the people drove us crazy! I did like some of the coasters so that was a good thing...but I must say....I missed the Mouse! We are still better Disney fans than Universal. If we did go again, I would stay at one of the Universal Hotel again as the Front Of the Line pass really was convenient.

The Holiday Inn Orange Lake resort was nice. We had a 2 bedroom with 2 baths and a nice large living room, dinning area and full kitchen. We did the presentation thing to get a good deal on the room and it was okay. They did not hound us very much. We own enough with DVC that I don't need more right now. Maybe when the kids are grown and want to go on trips with the grandkids.

What is the news about the ap bracelets?

Sorry you guys were hit with more bad weather.

Tomar, thanks for the info on the wristbands for ap's.

Candi, I feel the same way about US. We go 1 day every 7 yrs??? But, would only do it by staying there. We love Portfino, but its been a while so not sure how it is now. I image it is still nice.
The AP wristbands >> people are getting wristbands to use the new tech. at wdw for entry & fp. But, since we have paper AP's > you cannot use it. So we have been waiting to see what we where going to do. I guess we go to epcot's odyesse resturant and they can change them there for us. Running till sometime in late may. I guess if you buy a new one you get the wristband then.

EE22, wish I had some info / details for you. But be patient........ Soon.

Hope everyone is enjoying spring. Hmmm, thats been a week now? Don't think it is anywhere yet??? It was 54 about 1pm at wdw today? OMG Glad we are not going for about a month yet. I think that ground hog was REALLY off this year.

-- AP people: got an email today about changing for a "new" type tix at epcot. States info is now on the ap site if you need it.

Candi, You just got back. Hang in there.

MKY - you are correct but it was not the same since we did not visit the Mouse this trip.

What a beautiful day here today. Usually we get some rain on Good Friday.

It was nice to have a break from the weather. Even the grass is a bit greener after today.

MKY - I vote to get the suitcases out!

I am already looking to see what we should do on the Disney Cruise next March. I think we will spend one night at a DVC resort on the Friday before we get on the ship but I am unsure if we will stay over after we get off the ship. We are usually pretty tired by the end of the cruise. If I could check into my room early in the morning, grab a nap and then head to the park I would but I fear we would be sleeping in the car again while we wait for our room.

Well we just added 2 more nights for a total of 17 days. We were thinking of upgrading but with those extra days it just isn't in the budget. I'm not going to change my ticker so it is off a day or 2.

My older dd wants to take a a animation class at disney quest anyone ever do this? We have the WP&f option so I figure why not and we have plenty of time.

I also am ordering a custom cake her birthday is the 16th and we are coming in on the 17th. This has been the longest winter ever and I need a vacation. THERE IS STILL SNOW ON THE GROUND!

KELLY, yes, I have done the animation class. It was a few years ago, but VERY VERY VERY popular. It was in an open room > and you just grabbed a seat when one opened. Seemed like some people sat there along time.
We finally got seats > and drew stitch. I still have mine. It was fun and
something cool to do.
