Believe it or not I made back my annual fee in the first month but we spend tons of food with the allergies in my house.

The games were fun. I didn't think we would play but everyone did and had a good time.

glad it worked for you. I cannot be trusted with a CC. If I started buying groceries > I would be on tv talk show with someone, helping me to get out of too much CC debt. I never caught on to paying it off right away......

I recieved a pin code in my maiden name a while back for July...and your soooo right ....the discounts for the GP are more then they are sending out ! ugh ! Had the Air con on for a while with the 90 degrees the other day...it has since returned to a normal 60...how bout you ?
EE22- I second the motion on living closer to one another !!!...Im right there with you guys !!!

MKY-I did my DDIL`s baby shower when she was PG with the Princess...but, no games as it was in a restaurant .. I did...instead... make cute favors for the guests...they were little wooden boxes from Micheals ...I hot glued a silk rose on top of each one , and glued colored lace around the box (a different color for each box, matching the flower )...the ladies could use the little box for earrings or any jewelry.

Thank you, thank you! I even beat my goal so i don't have to mess with it this weekend!

I am pretty excited about the shower. I love to plan! I hope the weather cooperates so I can open up the deck too. A little worried about the boys. They might be nuts. They haven't ever seen that many people. Maybe it will work out.

I so wish we all lived closer. That would be nice. Someday bug and I will come to NY and then get to see you guys. I haven't been to NY since the worlds fair. And Yes, I remember being there. About 15 yrs ago, I did go to a conference in Philadelphia. I guess that's the closest I've been to you?

Eveyone got home safe and sound (thank you for asking)...and wow that is a longggggggggggg time since you`ve been to NY....I was still in school at that time ...but then again....Ive NEVER been to Chicago at all !!
Im sure the boys will be well behaved for the baby shower, and if its nice you can use the deck like you said !!....Good Luck planning it...its so fun really !!
Our time at disney is coming up soon, and beleive me...this year.....I CANNOT WAIT !!! (for many reasons ) ....yes...you guys are right behind us !!

Happy Friday everyone!

We leave two weeks from tomorrow. It has been about 15 months worth of planning with the neice and nephews and family. Like always, I had so much time and now have a huge list to get done in the next two weeks. It never fails does it.

I will be in Philadelphia in May for a conference this year. It would be nice to have someone along with me to walk around with. I am coming home on Friday afternoon so I can go and see Liberty Hall Friday morning before I fly home.

Tomar, actually I don't think I was too old either. NY was before bug was born, so that is under six. And mom was not pregnant yet. so > that makes it under 5yr old. But, I still remember doing the "disney" rides when we where there. During, the service [dad airforce] mom and dad lived in california for sometime > and in Riverside. They said it was Orange groves mostly. They went to disney right off when it opened and several times before returning to illinois. So, they wonder where this obsession came from??
I can't believe you have not been to chicago. I am guessing quite a bit like NY. Only we prefer: deep dish pizza. More overweight people probably. And we don't have an obession to only wear black. Our lake is fresh water and no salt. Otherwise pretty much the same?

MKY- Oh How funny....my first experience with Disney was at Disneyland also....my boys as well....they first went when we visited Nana when they were small....I used to think back then, that Id see a some of the kdis from the Mickey Mouse Club walking down main street, and Id be soooooo excited !!
Thin sliced pizza for us New "Yawkers" !!! (I know thats an ongoing debate with both states..,lol)
Didn`t know your Dad was in the military ...a HUGE Salute to his years in keeping America Safe !
We live on the coast ...so its the Atlantic Ocean for us !! Veryyyy salty !!

Tomar, Dad appreciates that. Thank you. He served 4years airforce during korean war. Flew as a gunner on B29's, staff sargent. He was stationed out of Japan. Got to see alot of the world. His last year [war ended] was in california doing refueling [in air] as a boom operator. Pretty exciting. Mom moved out there and they lived there and considered re-uping but mom got sick and was passing out. They came home > found out after 5 years mom was finally [just] pregnant.

EE22, Exciting. Are you looking at midway again? We found in march they worked on their lines for security and it was flowing a bit better.

EE22, you are going to be soooooooooooo busy with all your trips coming up. It is wild to plan more than one at the same time. You will be doing adr's for one and turn around for the next trip.

11 days for me! I can't wait to be in Disney with all the family!

I am going to see Chimpanzee's tonight...it looks cute but also sad...I am taking tissues as I know I will need them.

We had our kick off meeting today for our new ERP system. Man am I going to be busy for the next year. As the project manager, there is a lot on my plate in addition to the normal work. But I am really looking forward to it being successful.

I watched it myself , and honestly, the only thing that I was happy to see was "The Jersey Shore" on the garden state parkway !! We go to the place where they have their houses in the summer alot...it is only a hop and skip from where we live !!
My allergies are kicking in as we speak this week ...grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
