Tomar: I think you are right about the money. JS kids had nothing before so now I think they are getting like a million a season. That is a ton of money. The first year I think was a free house and $3k each. I remember people saying that they were ruining their futures because any employer would know them from that show and never give them a job. But things have changed and they are making some cash now. But the Housewives, I really don't get. They have money so I guess they want fame???? Who needs it, really??? What a mess really. Unless it was to promote their businesses, which I guess it did.

I am not shocked. Maybe something for herself because the kids are grown? But I think that is better than the tv show. Too much drama.

TP2-Absolutely too much Drama !!!!
She seems to be holding her own with the back and forth talking on a radio talk show though , its one night a week...we don`t even listen unless we happen to be in the car at that time, and that night.
Here`s hoping we get some discount news for our summer trips to the world next week !!

I am going to start to plan a summer holiday for us. I have a couple of airline vouchers to use by the middle of February next year, so am wondering what to do and where to go....

Any thoughts? Remember - I promised the kids our next trip will be to someplace other than Disney.

No suggestions here Candi. We had a great trip to DC one summer and Cedar Point was a blast, but that's about it for us. Not leaving the country either...no thanks.

Hiya everyone!

Well did some swimsuit shopping last night. That was entertaining. I can't believe we are so close. I have so much to do. I am off this weekend and off friday otherwise I work straight through till we are off. Its going to be a long 2 weeks. Work is still crazy. I hate winter. It is the worse season at work.

Codes: I think they "know" when you can't go and that is when they send it to you. I think it is a good sign Tomar, that some people in July are getting codes. Should mean they will discount july with maybe an AP rate??? And hopefully pull it over till august discount starts.

I did notice a bunch of room available at CR and BLT that was not there for august, I think that is promising.

I admit: the "NJ" shows i find rather entertaining. Don't take them seriously and am shocked mostly. But, staying in hotels other than WDW >> makes you aware of how limited tv at wdw really is. Only hotel chain without any "movie" type channels or pay channels. I can only watch all the wdw previews for the first few days, then I am over them. I would like to watch them at home, not while I am there. We usually watch the channel with the cartoon loops or play radio disney through the tv.

Glad everyone liked the "green river" Have a great weekend. I plan to iron, dug out my shorts and shirts today.

I just want to get to spring break without a snow day and we might be safe. I need school to be done ON TIME this year. Although if DL11 is done, it wouldn't be as bad as last year after state and graduation to have one taking finals after all that.

Hi everyone

MKY - no I am not ready but it should not take me too long. I have to buy a couple of last minute things and take care of a few things around the house in the next week but otherwise we should be able to get ready quickly.

I think I am not stressing because I am not having to work long days right up until the time we leave....much easier to get ready.

We had thunderstorms here last night too.

I am keeping the soap and sanitizer close by.

I don't think I have ever told you about Dear Adopted Son now 25. He is a young man that my husband use to work with. He is very far from his family and is sort of estranged from them as well. So he calls us his local family. DD15 and DD12 call him their brother and he refers to them as his sisters. He is such a good kid too and for 4 years now, he has been a part of our family.

He sent me a text that he was really sick and it sounded serious, so I went and took care of him for the day on Monday. It was bad and I ended up taking him to the hospital because I figured he needed fluids.

I am not sure how long after exposure you might come down with symptoms. I am trying to get lost of rest and not do too much to wear me down this week just to be safe.
