mky: In Kidani Village the pool is across from where the check in is. It's not a bad walk if you have a good location. We really love the lay out of Kidani with the underground parking. Very cool. It never seems that far to us, but we are use to it because that's where we have always been for the most part. Kidani has no counter service which didn't bother us, but we were in a 1BR.

WL: the size can be an issue just as with Jambo at AKL. We lucked out and had a room that was very quiet and down beyond Roaring Forks...otherwise...it's a long, long walk down those halls. We never took the boat either because we were there in Dec and we knew it would be cold. I don't think there is parking over by the Villas, but I could be wrong, but I am almost 100% sure there is not.

I didn't like the bus set up at WL...with having to go to FW. Took us a long time.

Remember with a studio you don't get two queens. The boys when we were at SSR would have rather had 2 queens rather than the queen and sleeper sofa.

mky thanks it has been about 2 years since we have been and planning is thereputic in lessening the withdraw symptoms.
This will make trip 14 i think. Our 2 favorite resorts are BC and AKL. Will agreee BC is all about location. Also food selections are limited at AKL hoping Sanna will help. Can't comment on the Poly just eat there usually.

Thanks for the great ideas. Lots to think about. & plan. Still not sure what to do. We won't make a decision till our oct trip. Hoping to score another bounceback rate and wanted ideas for that.

Tp2. Didn't realize you where going back to school. Ugh, that is soooooooooo much work. Lucky I can make it to work & do my stuff at home. What are you working towards. Hopefully some thing. Fun.

Hi Everyone!

Well it was a terrible Monday at work. Things are crazy

I needed a Disney fix, so thought I would see what I missed.

Adisneynut - you have the right group. These ladies are wonderful!

I can book our one night at BCV any time now. I just have to find time before member services closes to call. We are going to stay the Saturday after we get off the ship.

I think we will fly in the Friday before our cruise and stay near the airport. Then we can get our car and head to the port really easily. We found it hard to pick up the car from the resort last March.

MKY - when are you planning on going next March? It would be fun to be at BCV at the same time.

Hi Guys !!
Thank Goodness Mr. Tomar and I are FINALLY feeling better !! Thank you all for your kinds concerns !!....We were away for a couple of days visiting family out in TP2`s neck of the woods, drove home late last night, to NO aircon in the house !! YUCK !!
Thank Goodness the Heating and Aircon serviceman was able to fix the problem today....it was 95 degrees here again !!

TP2- Hope DD is starting to feel better as well !!
Are you ready for "Hurricane Earl" ?....Im hoping it passes us, but it looks like its gonna be a close call !

Tomar: So happy you are both finally feeling better. Glad to hear your weekend was not a wash. We were out at the beach, I was thinking we could have had a mini meet! DD is doing better. Off the Allegra now. That did not work for us at all. She is back on Flonase for the seasonal allergies but only until we go back to school.

Checking the news right now on Earl. Don't know what to think at this point but I cranked up the temp in the fridge just in case we loose power and bought enough small flashlights for each kid. Don't want anyone scared in the dark.

EE22: Hope things are setteling in at home.

MKY: Going back to get my masters in teaching. 36 credits is going to fly by, right? I just keep telling myself that once I am done and get a job we will either buy DVC, or we will stay deluxe! That is all the incentive I need to go back.

Happy Labor Day!

Hope everyone is having a great holiday. I am off today but worked this weekend. Full of asthma >> lookout << Pretty busy.
Weather here is nuts. Actually been cold the last couple of days. 50's at nite and low 70's during the day. Weird. They are talking 80's this week again. Finally got to turn off the air, been on since may.

Hope everyone is feeling better. Seems we are a sickly bunch. Asthma is definately in full swing with our weather changing here.

TP2, Congrat'son getting your master's and teaching career off the ground. 36 credits will fly by. Very exciting! You can do your homework with the girls.

EE22, Hope you did ok, with your DS going off to school. Hopefully it is cooler near you too, so the AC won't be an issue.

Tomar, hope you guys did ok with the hurricane. Scary stuff.

Candi, we are looking at the middle of march. defends how my weekends off fall and when bug can get off. Still no idea where we plan to stay, I checked and southwest is not booking yet for past 1st week in march.

Kinda worried about oct. airport issues here. For some reason, chicago has tore up every main street going to midway. All at the same time. Cicero and Central are back up all day and nite. That should be a lot of fun. We are going at 4am, and flight at 7:30am. but you never know. With no traffic > would be a 35 minute drive. Traffic ?? who knows.

Well, hope everyone had a great labor day holiday.

Hi everyone!

Well it has been a nice weekend here with cooller weather. It has been nice. Our alergies are just horrible but we are haning in.

The itchy eyes are the worst.

MKY - we will be in Orlando on March 19th after we get off the ship. I am gonig to book at room at Beach Club once I get 10 minutes when they are open.

School starts tommorrow for the kids. It will be back to the normal grind again.

TP2 & Tomar, so glad you did not get the hurricane. We are having some really cool weather here. Makes me ready for october. Except my asthma is really kicking. Been doing the neb every 3 hrs. Am wired for sound.

I always seem to get sick before our trips. Ugh. Oh well, its almost the weekend. Maybe being off, I can really get this under control.

Hi Everyone: So far, so good on the asthma front. But I am not holding my breath. Got everything squared away for her so that she has her meds at school and all. We are FINALLY watching our videos from last summer. I was about to loose my mind about not seeing them yet. So far we have 2 discs but we are only on day 6. We were there for 14 days so I think we still have a few more tapes to go. Makes me more excited for next year but it is so sad to see how much the kids have grown in just 1 year. DD6 looks like such a baby. I can't believe she grew up so much this year. Very sad. She told me she is not a princess girl anymore. No more pink either. She is the baby so I am having a hard time. All good stuff though.

MKY: Hope the asthma starts getting better. Can't imagine how you feel on the meds. I see DD6 and what a beast she becomes. It must make you feel awful. Wish I were coming with you in October. I am overdue for a trip. That is why DH finally decided to convert our videos to a CD for me. I am sure things will work out great for March. Any situation will be just fine. I am sure you are looking for some down time, which is why you really want the pool. Can't blame you.

Good Moring Ladies !!

Well, it has turned cooler here in the last couple of days, as is nornal for sept. I guess......Im mourning over loosing the summer, and really, I wasn`t in the best shape (health wise)....wish I could have a "Do Over" LOL

TP2- I totally understand how you are feeling right now, with watching the girls grow before your very eyes....in a blink they will be young ladies, and ......OUCH !.....where did the time go?!
Enjoy every Moment !!....Time seems to go by tooooo fast !!

We are quiet cool here and have been all week. I have to close up the house to keep it warm enough at night.

MKY - sorry to hear the asthma is bad. For us it is the allergies that are bad right now. I hate the itchy eyes the most.

Tomar - I am glad you are starting to feel better.

TP2 - My youngest is now 12.

Well yesterday was my birthday. It was a pretty quiet day but we went to a Eucker (sp?) tournament last night that lasted too long. But it was okay since it was for a good cause.

Well, I better run. It is a very busy weekend for us.

Hi Ladies....we are almost to mid term at school...it's flying by which I knew it would with DD's last year.

We are in deep with looking for schools for DD too.

DS is doing pretty well with school so far...chemistry and biology are going well. He's had a few laundry questions We went up last weekend for dinner and the afternoon. We will go next weekend too. He didn't need too much after the big move.

mky...sorry you aren't feeling well. I hope you are better before your trip.

MKY: Hope you are feeling better. Your trip is coming and you need to be well rested and ready to go. Some day we will get there for Halloween. DD6 told me yesterday that she wants to move to Disney when she gets older and wants me to come. I said, "What about daddy?", she said, "He can live at the beach!". I told her we will have to see what happens but that I would love to.

EE22: Glad to hear that DS is setteling in at school.

Candi: DD11 is just about as tall as me now. Not sure when that happened. I am glad she is not the baby. Having a hard time this year with all the changes. But I guess I am not the only one. EE22 has it much worse than me.

Tomar: Suddenly cold here too, then hot for a couple of hours, then cold again. This is the part I hate. 2 sets of clothes and small closets make for a frustrated TP2! So far all the allergy meds are hanging tough so I am happy. Hope it stays that way.

Hope everyone has a great week. Next week will be our first full week of school.

Hiya everyone

Yes, my asthma is still kicking. I have not called my md yet. Holding off the steroids. Not sure if I will get kicked off plane with this cough. Even OD -ing on cough syrup does not prevent it at all. It warmed up here the last few days, so hoping with the warmer weather I would clear up and it hasn't happened yet. I will hold off calling my doc till thursday for my day off and give up at that point. The only thing left would be to add the steroids. If we weren't going I would not take them.

Cannot believe we are in the 20's. Starting some preliminary packing. Getting some piles ready. We are excited. but Dad not so much. Think he will really miss us this time.

Gosh I hope the weather is good. Looks like hurricane season is kicking. It better move out soon. Been there and done that. [gabriella, right after 9/11]. That was a bad trip start to finish.

I want to see the "owl" movie at dtd disney amc. But bug is fighting me. Says she won't see it. She wants to see the vampire girl "let me in". That ain't gonna happen.

EE22, cannot believe its almost mid term. That has flew by.

TP2, you can stay with us, too after we move. Someday...... maybe we will all be there togther.

Tomar, you would love October! warm during the day nice at pool [usually] & cooler at night. low 80 to 70's at nite. December we have seen 60's. But, i still wear shorts during the day. And the crowds are very different. not many tour groups, absolutely no large ones. Have to watch out for cheerleaders groups, or sports stuff. But, not nearly as bad. You guys should consider it someday.

Candi, hope it cools here tonight. If your a Lions fan, sorry about the game yesterday. Ugh, that was ugly. Bears are even embarrassed about the bad call.
