June, July, August PLANNING thread

HI Guys !
Gorgeous Day here too !! sorry I haven`t been posting ...this coming month is going to be a very busy one for the tomars !
As of tomorrow (May 1st) we are 20 days and counting for the arrival of the Princess and the new little Prince !! Yipeeeeeeeee !!
I actally found a beautiful hand made knit sweater set I had saved from the little Prince`s daddy`s christening...lol (would you believe it is still just as gorgeous ? )...washed it by hand and I hope the little prince gets to wear it ...I will be tickled pink if he does ...It was hand made ...all white and yellow with booties and hat to match
Hope eveyone is doing well !!...
MKY- just wanted to say that Mr. Tomar and I just send a box down to the resort each year...I suppose if we were going more often, we`d look into the owners locker, but from what your saying about the price , we may just keep doing what we do

Tomar, I got an email from the locker people, and it will be cheaper to change the plan I have. So we will keep our lockers. I could live with one, but we are pretty spoiled with 2 now. I keep all our hats, bags, "disney stuff" and it was really nice getting to keep bottles of stuff: shampoos, tanning lotions, and little extras [ bandaids, OTC medications, batteries....] Locker #2 has a toaster oven in it. Not having to throw them out or try to get them home. But, the lockers kinda turn into a "closet" problem. You can barely get stuff in it and its way to overfilled now. I had to sit on them to get them closed last time. We even re-shopped before we came home in march, figuring we would rather do it then, then have to in july. Now, it july we only will get locker #1 and then get some pop and snacks we are good to go.

Hope everyone has a great weekend. It stormed here bad last nite. I know its heading east. Hoping it clears up fast. Saw the snow in New Hampshire.

Hi All!

We are at 62 daysI hope I make it till the end of the year!! 21 days of school left. I worry about taking apart my room...haven't even started yet!
Hope you all are well! I only have to reserve DD's picture time which I cannot do until 30 days out. I have to figure out what day we are going to do that too!

MKY- glad you changed your OL plan..and are happy with the change..I could imagine the things that you would be able to store in them, I put quite a bit of things in the box we send down, and Im sure it`s smaller than the OL..

EE22- We are right behind you ...I think we`re at 67 days now !!
Im sure DL11`s pics are going to come out Gorgeous...anyplace in "Disney" for a Background ,will be Beautiful !!

Tomar: You must be so excited. We have 2 1/2 weeks until my sisters Baptism and we still have not gotten invites or shopped for a dress. Maybe my sisters baby will wear that sweater you have! Hot here this week. I am sure you have the same. I am loving it though.

So I am being tortured by all the good deals coming out for August. First free dining and now room discounts. I think I may have to sneak away with just the kids if DH really does not want to go. It is all I can think about. Something is wrong with me for sure.

Hope everyone is well. I am just happy we made it to the other side of winter!

The extended room discounts and free dining sure do look inviting don`t they ???

Hi All...hope you had a great weekend. I made it another week...I'm not sure how. So glad the WDW plans are solid at this point and just need to organize stuff once school gets out. DS is down to 8 days...we are at 16.They will be long and power packed though that's for sure!

We were down into the 30's over the weekend. Way too cold!

Hope everyone enjoyed the weekend ....We were busy getting ready for the arrival of our grandchildren....in 10 more days !!! Whoo Hoo !!
It`s been COLD here in NJ too ...we actually had to put the heat back on this morning...Brrrrrr !!....We`ve gone from being in the 80`s, to being in the 40`s this last couple of weeks....CRAZY !!

EE22- Hang in there ....Keep your eye on the prize now !!!..."Your Vacation" !.

A New week is upon us ...and one more week closer to all our vacations !!!

Just thought I would post a link to our trip report from last July 4th. May help to take away some of the worries about crowds and wait times. The longest we waited for any ride was 20 minutes and we did EVERYTHING at EVERY park.

48 days till our trip. MKY, I wish we were over lapping again this year!

Well, DD and DS qualified for state! It was a nail biter for DS in shot put...toughest district in the state...we figure it was more pressure than the state meet! They both qualified for the national meet, but we are not going to go.

I lived through prom...but I'm broke!!

DS has 3 days of school left. After tomorrow, DD And I will be in single digits...and then it's time to double check out WDW Trip. I haven't even looked at anything for a long time.

buyerbrad: love to see your DL report. We are going there the summer of 2011.

Hi everyone!

I finally hit the 50's! I wish we where over lapping too. This is going to be a pretty quick trip for us. We get in July 16th and home on the 24th. I hope we get pretty good weather.

EE22, Great pictures The kids did great in the field this year! Nice prom pictures too. Looked like alot of fun and I can believe your broke with 2 going. Wow, your almost out of school!

Tomar, You are going to have a wonderful week ahead! Enjoy the g. kids. Have a great time. You will just be over their visit & be ready to leave for WDW! Just picture you and Mr. tomar basking in the sun @ wdw.

Hi everyone!

Work has been busy and the kids schedules have been full.

Poor kitty (Chloe age 9) had to have surgery last week. She had a bunch of teeth that were bad so they had to operate. Poor thing. She if much better now and healing really well.

I had an MRI today to try to find out if my back is worse that it was when I had a CT scan 3 years ago. I would really like to know so they can figure out what can be done to make it better. I am tired of it hurting everyday. Hopefully some therapy or something will help.

We had a great day today and yesterday. The weather was wonderful.

Hi Everyone: Seems like everyone is in the same boat. Busy, busy, busy!!! It is just that time of year. Seems to be as crazy and expensive as the holidays. Hope everyone is having fun with all your planning. I will have to wait until next summer but this year we may hit Hershey Park. The kids are asking so I guess it would be fun to hit a different amusement park for the summer. I am having a hard time getting into it but I guess that is the Disney geek in me.

May is the new December...I heard that once and it's true.

We are heading into our last full week and it's going to be 90 on Monday. ICK!!

So glad track is done and the State Meet was a success for both kids! They placed in all the events they qualified for which is awesome

Now, I have to try to get things back to normal before Graduation next Sunday...seems so weird that DS is done. I woke him up Wednesday for the last time for school

TP2: We went to Hershey Park when I was a kid. I have to get on the trip to Cedar Point too for DS's graduation.
