I think we all need a holiday from our holiday.

Dropping DS tonight off at school was tough especially since he was sick. I thought fall break was tough...this was worse. As time passes, I'm sure it will get easier, but this drop off was brutal.

Off today, and sitting at VW, getting oil done. It was early too. 7 am got here. Ugh. Could of slept in.

Tomar, So glad you had a great visit. Sorry about HA with son. Years ago, I was hit head on by a a drunk teenager. Got a concussion and the winshield had my head print looked like a mold. Anyway > I never had migraines before and headaches since. "they" claim there is NO corolation, but always seemed suspiscious to me. I still get migraines now. Guess they won't ever go away. Just weird I didn't have them before?

EE22, I bet it was just as hard for DS to leave too. Well, he will be home soon for xmas. and then spring break is just around the corner. Hang on, he is doing fine. DD's senior year is half over almost too.

TP2, Haven't a clue how your doing so well in school. If i went back > they would put me in special ed. koudo's to you! Home, school, husband, kids, that is alot too do. Not to mention holidays etc.. ... . Try to get some much needed rest.

Well its monday today. After I get done here, picking up mom and taking her to the mall for xmas shopping by MYSELF Hoping this goes well. We are taking her new wheelchair out for a spin / test drive. Keep your fingers and toes crossed that she is having a good dayl

Starting to feel better finally. Work is picking up. And it snowed yesterday and today. Hope everyone is having a great week.

Hope everyone is having a good week !!

MKY- wow, I just read about your concussion, I am so sorry ! ...That must have been very painful...were you knocked out at all ?...DS was for a little bit, that`s what`s scaring me !...we`d really like him to see a neurologist, just to have a good check up after the fact !...He already had 2 CT scans....but Im still not satisfied (if you know what I mean )
He said that his sense of smell has deminished alot...worryed about that
The Princess had to go back into the hospital this week for a follow up preceedure. It seems that she has "Improper Eustachian Tube Function"... the ear that the one tube that fell out after the tonsilictomy, formed a puncture in her eardrum....She has alot of wax buildup...she is dong well though ..they cleaned out the hole, replaced a tube back in that ear...and she may have to go in in 6 weeks for them to sew the puncture now.....in the meantime she has to go for a hearing test also....
WE spoke to her last night..she is doing well...so we feel alittle better too about that !!

EE22- Did you mention the "S" word ??!! ...OH NO !!...
We had a bad storm here in the east coast yesterday...Wind...Rain...the whole works !!...

TP2- How did you fare with the wind yesterday ??...I hope all was well in Long Island !!

The sound of snow plows is NOT music to my ears!!! We didn't get the 6 inches they said originally, but the roads don't look happy this morning.

EE22, I can tell you where the 6+ inches went. My house. Ugh. The weather maps here looked like it was going to miss you but we where in the middle. I think candi should of missed it too. Unless she got lake effect?

Tomar, Ooh I hope PP ears are ok. for her hearing test. Yes, I believe I was out not sure how long. I remember seconds before the accident but not getting hit and then waking up as they where trying to open the car door to get us out. I remember looking up and seeing the car that hit us on the hood of the car I was in. Very scary. Didn't even notice my head inprint at that time. I saw it the next day when we went down to get my purse out of the car. Didn't have any effects at the time except for headache and a weird numb kinda feeling in my head. It went away. I started migraines a few years later and they could never tell me if it was associated or not. Probably not cause bug gets them too and they run in families.

Went shopping and pretty much down now for xmas. Got a lot of wrapping I should do. Then yesterday bug shovelled and we stayed home. I cleaned half of my room and part of my closet. We did some vacation shopping too. Treated ourselves to some new luggage. I got a nice red set 2 years ago [american touristor] and southwest beat the &^%$^* out of it. They look 20 years old. zipper broken, and all frayed. Not sure why it was that case but wow it is a mess. Hoping this last better. I know it should still be warranty but of course I didn't keep the paper work, so that is useless. I will this time.

We only had about 3 inches here...not going anywhere though as it's 2 degrees outside. COLD!!!!

Dubuque which is northest of here got dumped on. 8+ inches. We left much later to see DS due to the roads. Both ways were not that great. I hope when I get him at the end of the semester the roads are clear. Those hills are massive and my little car doesn't like them when it's dry. The first stop we made was for boots! I thought we'd make it till winter break, but no such luck! We went to the farm storethey had tons. That's where we bought his carhartt (sp?) jacket too. He said it's very warm.

Luggage: Congrats mky. I had to buy DS some for his trip to Orlando. I just knew he didn't want Grumpy or Mickey on his suitcases! I hope yours lasts for you. They sure beat the bags up these days that's for sure. Our luggage tags usually get torn off.

Yes, they had a lot more snow than we did...and it's COLD here too. Orlando was 84 last week. I want to be in mky's luggage soon for her trip!!

MKY- OMG !...Thank God you were ok after such a serious accident also ! ..that time for you had to be just awful...I am so sorry ....Having been out for any length of time scares me. I know time has passed for you, and so you are ok now,.. but... for DS....especially since he has lost his sense of smell now....we are making the appt. for him to see the specialist this week ! Thank you so much about the Princess...she is doing well....went back to school already, ....We just hope that in 6 weeks we get good news on how she is healing inside the ear !
She has a Play next week about the Nativity....she is playing "Mary" ...and has to sing a solo ....she sang it for me over thanksgiving, so I got to hear it in person !! ...soooo cute !!

Sorry about all the bad weather some of you have had this past week, looks like the first significant snowfall was in MKY`s neck of the woods this winter....with honorable mention in EE22`s Field of Dreams .....Honestly, Im not looking forward to any of it ....I think if we have an option...TP2 and I will pass on the East coast ! lol...Now, just because I said that, we will probably have a noreaster here next week !!
Putting up our little tree tonight.......the days of the 9 foot Real ones are Over at the Tomar house !

Glad I lost the beginning of the snow race and I hope I continue to.
Dec 17th...NO SNOW. Must get DS and you should see the hill I have to go down to get to the dorm. I really don't want to have to haul all his stuff to the top of the hill!! This weekend we parked in the upper lot and walked down.
