Hiya EE22!:yay:

Yes, the foot condition continues. I have been fitted and am awaiting my new custom inserts. Insurance has denied them:eek: so have to fork over the $300+ . But the need is clear. Then middle part of my foot is caving in now. Losing the arch totally. Having some balance issues. So it is affecting most of my body (for some reason). Right now, my knee and hip ache and I even have tendonitis in my arm. Ortho md says totally expected it all.:confused3 From compensating walking weird.:scared1: Or, trying to not walk weird. Good news is the bone scan was negative for any fractures. I think it is time to overall the engine and powertrain and get an updated model? On the upside, saw my md today and my blood pressure is now undercontrol.:thumbsup2 Frankly, I am really getting tired of doctors.:lmao:

Next weekend, we are going to the doctors yearly ball. princess: Sis( aka "bug"), is being honored and voted "employee of the year" from the doctors. It is a huge honor, and you are invited into their yearly party / ball. So we did some fine shopping: and have am elegant party dress. But worried about the shoes. Found cute party shoes with mid sized heel. Just hope it hold togther for the nite. I have a pair of black ballet style flats that might make it into my car just in case. Anyway, I am so proud of her. She works in quality at the hospital. She has a computer degree and never wanted to have anything to do with nursing / hospitals.:confused3 She has worked there about 18 years.

Everyone stay warm & dry. :upsidedow mky:cutie:

OUCH on the inserts!! When I went this fall and bought my MBT tennis shoes they wanted to do inserts in expensive shoes and it was cheaper to get the MBT for me but you have something different than I do. They took a graphical pic of my foot when they were making them. :confused3 I hope they work for you. I know with DD we did submit her ankle braces to our flexible spending for medical. I don't know if you do that and they did pay that which was nice. Her braces were $30 each and they were not custom. Nurses and Teachers really have issues with their feet.

It does sound like you need something though so more doesn't go wrong. You know all too well how interconnected the body is.

That is AWESOME about "Bug". That will be a blast I'm sureparty:

Tomar - I hope the princess princess: is able to make the trip.

MKY - congratulation to Bug :cheer2:

Thanks for thinking of me while at the auto show...I hear Chicago's was bigger than Detroit's but I wonder if it was "better". Did you have a heard of cattle at yours? :lmao:

I will be on the look out for what happens in March for you. I will note crowds, weather and such. We have been during early February and during mid July - so I can compare to those two times of year.

We are doing the Disney cruise again in March 2009 so DH can come with us (my mom did the last cruise with us and he stayed home). We plan to stay a couple of days in Orlando before we hit the ship. I have enough points (from all the business travel I use to do) to stay a few nights at the Holiday Inn, Nickolodian Hotel. We stayed there a couple of times when it was the Holiday Inn Family Suites.

Overtime - the double edged sword!

When my kids complain that I have to work on Saturday mornings (like Mon - Fri isn't enough) I usually remind them that the overtime money pays for our Disney trips. You can see the wheels spinning and then they are fine.

I hope your feet hang in there. It must be hard on the to be standing on them all the time.

I know my butt has a problem since I sit on it all day long....it keeps growing..:lmao: :lmao:

Stay warm everyone.

Tomar, Great news about your princess: Princess! You better get shopping yourself. I saw the prettiest easter dresses for small girls today.:dance3:

How exciting! mky:cutie:

MKY- thank you about the Princessprincess: ...Can`t wait !!!:goodvibes
Congrats to "Bug" !!  Hope you guys have a blast at the ball !!:woohoo:

Hiya everyone,

Wow last nite it was 30 degrees & this am it is -1 and -26 with wind chill. Everyone stay warm. The wind is howling. Good news: work was slow. No one apparently wanted to go out to the doctor.:confused3

Thanks everyone for the well wishes with Bug. Should be an interesting night.

Only 6 months till disney.:wizard: mky:cutie:

Cold here to mky:cutie: I hated to venture out today, but I did.

Let us know how your weekend goes...hopefully it will be warmer too.

Cannot wait for Disney. While at Target today I bought some small bottles for the travel bag. :woohoo:

Hi Everyone: Cold here too and we had wicked wind last night, kept everyone awake.

DD9 has the inserts too. Hers were custom and thankfully insurance did cover them. I believe she gets one pair every 2 years. I am a wreck when it rains out though.

MKY: Congrats to your sister. That sounds like it is a great honor. I am sure you will both have a wonderful time and will forget all about the feet.:scared:

Goofy 22- Resort discounts come in many ways...if you are an annual passholder ....many room only discount rates appear in the spring (check the code board)....or if you have been to the world before and CRO has your info...you may recieve a discount code via e-mail ....
as far as July is concerned...it is Hot and Humid and rains for an hour or so everyday....the best tip I can give you is ...take a brake in the middle of the day....if your at the parks in the morning...try to get back to your resort mid day..and enjoy the pool and cool off alittle :beach: ... then ....you can return to the parks in the evening when it`s a tad cooler :goodvibes ...most of the parks are open later in in the summer months.....
Good luck and have a great time ! ;)

Hiya everyone!

Happy wednesday.:) week is almost over and I have sat, sun, & mon off! Celebrating new years day holiday on monday.:thumbsup2 Sooooo
Happy New Year 2008!:confused3

I finished up our adr's no problems. called after work on tuesday kinda late too but got the rest. Only one had to play with the time was captains grille at the yc. Didn't know that would be a big draw.

Goofy22, Haven't been in july for last few years, but I remember hot & crowded. Trust Tomar she is the bomb. As for discounts: only way to recieve an email or mail offer: is sign up for everything and anything. Be sure to order a dvd every year. While at the parks, sometimes they interview you on entering the parks, be sure to give up your email. I recieved a bounceback offer this year & am using an AAA rate for the rest of the ressie. Hoping for an AP discount closer to august. But random codes are usually just luck. Last time I scored one was: 2 years ago, we had 2 trips planned and I got an offer that did not fit into either trip. :sad2:

Candi, no I lucked out and the auto show was slow the day we went. It was opening day, and expecting lots of snow. But we went and got back before the blizzard.

Tomar, any info on the princess?princess: Is she coming, or still not sure?

Happy Planning, mky:cutie:

AND......have a great weekend !!:woohoo:

MKY, I think this is the big weekend for you too!
Hope it's great!!

We are due for yet another winter storm.

It's 20 outside and it feels like a heatwave!:rotfl:

:cheer2: :cheer2: Happy New Year MKY :cheer2:

Had it been last week you could have tagged it onto the Chinese New Year and no one would have thought anything of it. I love saying Happy New Year to the folks I work with that celebrate it. Plus Merry Christmas for the Orthodox religions in January is fun.

At the production meeting, it has been a job of mine to let everyone know what the holiday is somewhere in the world. :confused3 Hey it gets me through the winter months.. :rotfl:

We are having a break in the hard weather too...but I am working so much I have not really had a chance to see much of it. When I change buildings (we have 2) for meetings seems to be the only time I see the sun right now.

:scared1:

Three weeks till I will be headed to the Detroit airport for our trip. I will start the packing list late next week and try to get :laundy: caught up the week after. I can't let the kids start packing too early or the bring WAY too much stuff.

Hiya everyone!

Yes, so far we have been crazy here. The weather for the "ball" was pretty good. high 20's and clear. :thumbsup2 Today we went all the way to 45! :cool1: :cool1: But it rained.

The "ball" was a bit of a let down. I was expecting red carpet gowns.:rotfl: Guess we watch way to many red carpet events ala' Oscars etc... . :confused3 People looked very nice, just not that far out there. Bug did great. She got up accepted her award and made her little speech. She looked fabulous. So proud of my lil sis. :) Otherwise a so so band, some interesting speeches and dinner. Wish I could post a picture, we actually looked a little hot. :rotfl: It was really very nice. Gosh, think I need to start wearing makeup more. Forgot we clean up pretty good.:lmao:

Wore out today and not big plans for tommorrow. Will be nice to sleep in. :wizard:

Planning wise: I need to run the car prices again and check united.

Candi, You are really getting down. Only a few weeks in feb. left.;)

Hope everyone had a great weekend!:woohoo: mky:cutie:

mky:cutie: ...so glad you have a good time...you are too funny:laughing:

We were dumped on with snow yet again. We still have power thank goodness. I think we have another 5-6 inches and it's blowing like mad outside. Just not nice at all. Can't see out my window again. Where is spring?:confused3
