We woke up to the bad weather this morning. Then it got REALLY hot.

EE22: No, right now we have 2 sets of one day MYW tickets. By set, I mean 2 adult and 2 kid tickets. I also have 4 one day adult hopper passes. I just realized I can upgrade 3 tickets from one set of the MYW tickets from one day tickets to 6 day tickets. I can then use the 4 adult one day park hoppers all for the same person so that person has 4 days worth of park passes. That same person would also use 2 one day MYW tickets and I would have 1 adult and 2 kid MYW tickets left over for a future trip. Does that make any more sense? I think I am more confused now.

I tried writing it down but I forgot already. I am going back to the WDW site to compare prices again. I actually think that I may not want 6 park days. Does not give us time to explore other things that I wanted to this time. I have to do the math again.

Okay, spoke with the kids. They want a couple of days to hang by the pool and also want to go to MK on our last day which means P&P. I guess we are back to the last itinerary. We are going to suck it up and hit Epcot on Thursday, even though they have EMH at night. I think we will hit all of the big attractions early and then just enjoy walking around Epcot for the rest of the night. Thats it. I want to put it to rest now.

Advice on Epcot with an evevning EMH. Try to get there before the gates open. I know that's tough with your 3 younger ones, but at least right when it opens. Go to Soarin' and ride and get fast passes before the ride if you want to more than once.

Test Track can be attacked by using single rider line if you want to do it more than once.

The new Nemo ride is cute, but not worth a long wait and Turtle Talk with Crush is too cute if you haven't seen it.

EE22: I have always been lucky and have never been to Epcot when it was crazy busy. One thing about Epcot is I do not like having ADR's there. I always feel like I get stuck in an area waiting to be called for a table and we lose way too much touring time sitting in a restaurant waiting. I am going to reconsider that Princess meal though. If we hit breakfast there, it will make us get out of bed, it will also force us to move to World Showcase first and then hit Future World. FW is always busy in the morning so that may also work to our advantage.

How is that eye feeling? I hope better.

This is the response I received when I contacted WDW about upgrading MYW tickets:

Regrettably, it is not possible to have the value of unused days on
previously-purchased admission tickets credited toward the purchase of
new multi-day ticket media. Guests are welcome to utilize any unused
days on previously purchased tickets, then purchase new Magic Your Way
tickets to supplement the number of additional days needed.

Does this mean that you can no longer upgrade MYW tickets? I wonder if that is one of the new rules with the price increase?

It's crazy here today...

don't know about the ticket issue...ask on the park board...I'm sure someone there knows.

Epcot: if you do Soarin' later in the day...be sure to get fastpasses on the way through. They can be gone by early afternoon for the entire day and then the wait time is HUGE. I love that ride and would cry if I didn't get to ride it.

What time is your ADR for the Princesses?
I agree it will get you out of bed. I might offer another suggestion based on the time.

I would have you or DH hit Soarin' for fastpasses on the way to that ADR...it's a long walk in there for the kids.


Eye is better, but man can I tell when it's time for drops! I go today at 1:00 for another check.

I took cakes to work today, ran several errands and I'm home again after getting DS from football. Gotta make lunch, off to the doc and then to football again. I thought this was vacation

TP2, How old are your kids? I know they are young but was trying to remember, if they are old enough for you guys to single rider line at test track? (like ee22 said). I don't think have ever not single ridered it yet. Have your kids, done mission space yet? We usually skip it, but last year my nephew had to ride it, so I took him on the big ride and he loved it. Talked all the way, looking around the whole time, etc... I guess he is a future astronaut. I think space ship earth is down for work, for our trips. Crush is fun, but once was enough for us. The lines are crazy. I liked the nemo ride too, but it is quick for the amount of time in line. The good news is most of all these lines are in air conditioning.

Tomar, the foot is about the same. I am about to through the boot out the window. It is a real pain. Glad you had a great trip.

EE22, Is the eye better? Hope your md had good news. How many days till you go back to work?

My eye is doing better tonight. Thank you. I don't have to go back till Monday now. Lesson learned. I saw a parent there...had all three of his kids and he had a detached retina. Spider thingys in his vision. God was talking to me big time! Go to the Doctore EE22 when you are sick!!

So Tuesday morning I'm back at it big time

My one small class of 22 is now 26 and they raised the caps in my really hard class to 30 I can hardly wait for the hour long district meeting on Tuesday morning. I think I'll BARF now and get it over with. Did I say that?

I was up there today delivering carrot cakes. One part by my room is better, but the other end is a total diaster area. Oh my!

DD is addicted to the Dis.

MKY: Girls are 8, 6, and almost 3. We are celebrating her birthday while there. That is all she can talk about is the Princesses bringing her a pink cake for her birthday. Don't have an ADR for the 28th as I just bought tickets for P&P and cancelled our ADR at Epcot to eat in Norway. This is probably a better experience for her. The older girls wanted MK on last day so that is it.

Wish your foot was feeling better.

EE22: Funny that DD is addicted to DIS. I guess the apple doesn't fall far huh? Can't believe you go back on Tuesday. That stinks.

I have been in search of sunblock with Avobenzene or Zinc Oxide. I guess it is more important to have Christmas decorations displayed than carry sunblock in August.

Come on TP2...the snow suits are out. Who on Earth would need sunblock in August? Didn't you plan ahead in Feb and get that stuff

I remember one summer DD's suit was falling apart from the sun, chemicals, etc and I thought she'd be going naked because I couldn't find one!

DD is keeping me up on the news at WDW.

EE22: You are right about February. I overbought last year because I thought we would go through so much sunblock going for 2 weeks. We still had plenty but I am starting to finish the bottles and I want at least one full one for the trip. I guess I can alway buy it there if we need it. It would save me the trouble of driving around.

EE22, sorry your vacation is almost over. But your almost in single digit months. Your DD loves the dis. You will be fighting for computer time. All elements of disney are addictive.

Tomar, you are too funny! I love your trip reports. 5 star mickeys! We fight over the passes too. I always get something icky, I think I had test track one year. Tina always gets mickey, donald, or cinderella.

I actually packed today. Picked out the shorts and shirts. Main stuff. So we are on our way. Tina is already in Vader withdrawl. Can't leave her baby. He is now 10 1/2 months old. I am not sure about shoes. Do I bring both? I think I will bring some of both My month in the boot is aug 27th. I know, it is wishful thinking but maybe for short intervals? Like just going down to dinner at the Contempary?

OK...OK.... I just caught up on on our Thread for the... "WHOLE 2 WEEKS"..I was at the world !!!....FHEW !!

TP2- Skip Spectro this year !!! Honestly.....it was toooooooo crowded !!! We had to stick to the Patio at "Tony`s Town Square" to see it....DH was looking to make a fast get-away afterwards !!!! LOL LOL
