SINGLE DIGITSparty:

AP tickets went up $15

You know MKY, with as much as you'll be in the World this fall you really should get a FL resisdent rate:rotfl:

EE22: Thanks again for the offer. I will go up there as soon as DD8 wakes up. We had a crazy weekend and my kids are all just beat up a bit. I feel it too but there is no time for mom to rest extra. I already did a load of laundry and unloaded the dishwasher.:laundy:

The school supply list is insane. Each teacher requests crazy things. Not pencils, but 2 boxes of 24, number 2, yellow pencils. :headache: My kids got pencils with their names on it from DGP for a start of school gift and they can't bring them to school. The entire list is just like the pencils, very specific. Thank you again for the offer but I would feel so guilty. The list is really a pain. The big problem I had last year was 2, 16 oz bottles of Elmers Glue. They sell 4 oz everywhere for .20 each but the big bottle was $6 for one when I finally found it.:sad2: I had to go to True Value Hardware, Target and Walmart don't carry it.

My friends don't get the Disney thing either. Well, at least not to the point of knowing as much as I do at this point. I have people wanting me to plan their trips though, all the time. I think I did 5 this year. I should really look into the TA thing again but there was so much involved with insurance and all. You must be so excited with AK. My DGF just passed and there is a will, I was thinking maybe we could fit something in.;) Of course, there is nothing in there for me but the thought of something extra just makes you think.:rotfl2:

MKY: Thanks for the info on International Gateway. That will definately be the closest place to exchange the tickets. We are not on the dining plan yet when we arrive so I was looking for a place to eat that would be fun, not too expensive, and we did not need an ADR. The last thing I need after traveling with 3 kids is to have to adhear to an ADR time. The first year we went we had a PS at 1900 with Cinderella. We were so stressed out that we would not get there on time. Too many factors to consider, the plane being on time, ME getting you to the hotel, checkin being effecient. I don't like the stress on vacation. This will work out much better.

I talk to you guys more than my friends at home too. I can't believe that we kept this thread alive for an entire year after our first trips. I will send you our itinerary too. I kept it a lot less formal this year. Last year we had so many ADR's everyone was complaining. This year I am trying to be more spontaneous.

MKY: I think EE22 is right. You could probably buy a hut somewhere just for the address so you can get the FL discount. It would probably be very cost effective and then you would have a tax write off too.:lmao:

If I see you I will DEFINATELY run right up. I think I will recognize you from pictures too. The boot will only make me POSITIVE that it is you.:goodvibes

EE22: The tickets get really confusing. You are probably best off getting the 10 day ticket with extra passes and non expiring. That would last the longest and there is not a big price difference between 7 and 10 day passes. I do know that non expiring part is a little more but I am sure much less than a 3 day ticket. You would get a few trips out of that too because it would give you 16 days of parks with the plus options added in. I am still on the fence too about doing the P&P twice. My biggest fear is the baby making it up past 9:00pm. She may be so thrilled to be there that she is fine but you just never know. When she is tired she has MAJOR meltdowns. Would not make for a fun evening.

Hiya everyone!:dance3:

TP2, I definately think we can work something out  to meet up for a few minutes. :thumbsup2 I read somewhere: that you can upgrade your tix (even single day) to hoppers, or add extended days there, instead of doing it prior. That way if you decide not to hop, or not save any days > you didn't waste your money paying for it ahead. Am i sounding confusing? Use your tix on vac, and then if you decide to hop, or add waterpark, or something else > you can just pay the difference at one of the guest services windows at the park.

EE22, I did think about residency.;) I have a 1st cousin that just moved his family to tampa area. Was thinking about renting a room? Our plan is to someday > retire and get a nice, calm, no stress job at disney. Preferably a front desk cm or cro? Gosh knows we would not need a lot of training.:rotfl2: And at the rate, we are falling apart might be sooner than later?popcorn::

EE22 well we are enjoying your heat and humidity today. It is only 90, but feels like 120. My hair doesn't know if I want an afro or stringy look. Its like my florida hair. I must be practicing for wdw.

Okay...went to registration and all I have to say is this....
it's amazing that any children in the US get an education!!!
Mass confusion with all the new staff. Sometimes I'd just like to go hide in a hole somewhere! Tomorrow is the new mentor teacher meeting and they didn't contract any of the veteran teachers for the meeting who are the mentors:confused3 DUH!!

okay...I feel better now after my vent;)

The whole supply thing drove me bats!! especially when I can't even get my high school students to bring ONE pencil let alone 24. And, they went into the community pool for those that didn't bring their stuff.:guilty:

My grandfather lives in Hudson on the other side of Tampa...I should rent a room too:rotfl:

HOT and HUMID again today. YUCK

Don't know what to tell you about the P&P. Do you have to decide before you do the first party or can you wait? I suppose it determines what you upgrade your tickets too? Would it help to sleep in that morning? DS never slept in when he was little..he got up at the same time no matter what time he went to bed.

Wow look what I stumbled upon. I happened to be updating my profile and noticed this thread was still active. Truly amazing ladies :goodvibes

We've already returned from this year's July trip in which we stayed "off site" :scared1: because we couldn't get an AP rate

Right now I'm watching the Dec code thread like a hawk hoping for an AP code for our planned Dec trip. We really want to stay on site :wizard:

Anways, nice to see that so many of you are still here. That is amazing :goodvibes

 Hi!!
Dec rates were released last fall when Oct, Nov, Dec were released. It was next Wed on last year's time table so here's hoping it's soon!!

EE22, sounds like a mess. Not much better in the health care field. Employee service, just called talked about my "sick" time overlapping my vac. Then I am supposed to return to work on tuesday after labor day but the md cannot see till friday (do to labor day holiday and surgery schedules etc..) > so they won't let me go back to work till after friday. This is getting silly. Waiting now to hear from my manager. :confused3 I will try to not worry about this.

Hiya minnie hope your trip was great. ;)

mky:cutie:

Sounds like a mess MKY...no fun that's for sure.
I hope it works out for you.
I sure hope they don't go to the "socialized" medicine like in other countries. Can't imagine the wait to see docs in that system:confused3

I wouldn't do TGM this close to the trip. It took me a bit to get use to the site. I love TGM and have actually joined already for next June, but I know how busy you are so I don't know if it would be worth it since you leave in 15 days.

opps! 14 days!!

Okay…I have earned the Total Doofus Award. :upsidedow I waited way to long to go to the eye doc for my eye bugging me, hurting at night. I have a bacteria infection and have developed ulcers on my cornea.

I need to learn to take care of myself. I should have learned from my foot!! I injured my foot LAST summer and just went 2 weeks ago. I didn't go because I knew they would send me for x-rays. Little did I know they did them right in the office.

I never go due to the time issue and now it will be way more time...every day to the doc for 10 days:sad2:

EE22: Thanks for that. I am so confused about the tickets still and was looking over at his site. I am also concerned about which park to hit eat day. I thought the travel period is light when we will be there but I may be wrong and I remember our first time going. We went to MK on a Monday pretty much by accident. When we saw how busy the park was I said what day is it? We then realized and I swore I would always follow a tour guide. I guess I will just look at the EMH schedule and go by that. We still don't have concrete plans for Tuesday 8/21, Wednesday 8/22, Thursday 8/23, Tuesday 8/28. My plan was to hit a park every other day and relax every other day.

EE22: EYE ULCERS!!!:scared1: What is that ??? Does not sound good. Hope that gets better soon.

Minnie: Hi there:flower3: I don't think we can believe the thread has stayed going this long either. Hope you had a wonderful trip.

Yup...eye ulcers and the doc told me I am lucky as they can and probably will scar and I won't be able to see well through them and fortunately they are at the top of my eye. I waited way too long to go and it just got worse and worse. If they were in the middle, who knows what I'd be dealing with. I should know better.

I'm a DOOFUS!!!

Tomar: Welcome Home!!! Can't wait to hear about your wonderful trip.

Okay, so I am more confused than ever. I was trying to plan which park to attend and realized that Spectro is not showing every night. Is that a new thing? I did not run into this the last 2 summers that we traveled. We traveled the same time last summer, during free dining and we saw Spectro every night in MK. This year it looks like we won't see it at all. Are crowds expected to be that much lower this summer compared to last? Do they ever add the parade if crowds are large? I planned MK days around P&P and of course skipped Monday. Not showing on any days.:confused3

This is my only comment about Spectro.

Whatever you do, don't spend extra cash just so you can see that parade. If you buy another ticket just to see Spectro and then it rains, you would be very, very upset.

DD and I love Spectro, but it's not worth $100 in tickets for your family.

I don't know what else to tell you.:confused3

EE22: You are right. I was thinking originally that we would hop on our last day from Epcot to MK but I now realize that they are having P&P on that night so we can't hop anyway. Maybe add MK as a park day and skip MGM all together. That would give us 2 regular MK days, 1 P&P day, 1 Epcot day, and 1 AK day. 5 park days in all which is not bad. I figure our arrival and departure days are a wash and 3 down days. One we have fully planned going to Fort Wilderness and Hoop. 2 other pool days that we may spend time resort hopping so we can see some other hotels.
