TOMAR:    :dance3: :dance3: :yay: :woohoo: :woohoo:  :cool1: :woohoo: :yay:

So happy for you that you are so close. Now you really need to get all of your stuff packed.

MKY: So sorry to hear about your foot. I would just plan on getting the ECV and take care of your health. This way your sister won't feel so bad either. Just think, you will have a place to store things that you would normally carry too. If you are at the Contemporary you can just use the path to get to MK. The biggest pain with the EVC is getting on and off the bus. It takes a lot of time but people are really great about it. You will get to use the monorail a lot too which is pretty easy with the EVC. Whatever you decide, make sure you don't let it go.

Funny you mention the Lysol. I always pack Lysol and Clorox Cleanup. I spray down the tub with the Clorox and spray the entire room with the Lysol. I want to make sure all the door knobs and surfaces are sprayed. I feel so much better that way. My DH freaks a bit because he does not like the smell. I try to do it when we won't be in the room so it can air out before we return.

EE22: Sorry DS did not do better. There must be so much stress with being away from home and competing against people that you KNOW are in the same league as you. It just adds another layer to the competition and stress of it all. I also need new furniture. We bought a sectional in January but it is not holding up. We need to replace it while it is still under warranty. I am getting the money back so I can pick anything I want.

This is definately the best year for you to miss going to the World. AKL seems to be having some issues with all the construction.

VMK Chloe: Thanks so much for sharing your pictures. It is always so great to put a face to the names. I did not get through them all yet, we have had a lot going on around here. I did see the first album and it seems like you had a wonderful time. It was great to see pictures of Pop. We will be there in 5 weeks.:woohoo:

Mouseaddicts: So glad to see you too. I would love to see your views from the room. Can't wait to see pictures.

So I was finally able to switch around our flights so we are now arriving on Monday around 2:00pm instead of Tuesday evening. I am MUCH happier with that. At least we have a full day on Tuesday now and we can also enjoy Monday. The other way we were getting there in time to eat dinner and hit the bed.

Hope everyone enjoys the rest of the weekend.

Yes, Mouseaddicts, I want to see pics too!!! I also cannot believe that this
4th was busier than last. On the 3rd, I thought DD and I would be killed by the mob at MK. It gave us an insight into what Christmas would be like although I think July 3rd was worse in the MK believe it or not. We pretty much stayed out of the parks on Christmas Day so we were in MK on Christmas Eve and it wasn't too bad.

I guess now, everyone pretty much is being moved at AKL. There are a few remaining, but not many. Can't imagine how empty the place is. It's always full when we are there. My family would have had a panic attack. I followed a few stories and some honeymooners were moved to the Grand.

TP2...glad you got your flights worked out too! I think Pop looks like a blast. I think your family will have fun there.

I'm having a crisis!!! I realized that I go back to school in one month from yesterday:sad:

This is NOT a good countdown:scared1:

EE22, you have a reverse count down. ;) The "go to work" :teacher: countdown. But it is getting you closer to your AKL - home.

Tomar 9 days!::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo Are you ready yet?

Everyone, thanks for the good advise about the foot. I will have the MRI on this friday upcoming, and will see md afterwards. I will just think good thoughts till then. :rolleyes1 Not much else will do. Take it one day at a time.

We are down to 31 days! Still haven't gotten a better deal on that rental car yet. Guess it is not gonna happen.

Love to see everyone's pictures cause we don't usually take many. I am the absolute worse, picture taker, so sis is in charge.

Thanks MKY for reminding me to keep my eye on the prize. I always tell my students at the end of any vacation...."if we never start, you'll never get to summer vacation."

How sweet next summer will be:cool2:

Hi everyone! Looks like we may go back next year... probably in late September.. or early October either fo rmy husbands birthday or our 9 year anniversary of "being together" I definitely want to go in a less crowded time next time.. and more of a value season after most schools have started back.

We are hoping if everything goes well to have a little one by late Spring.. or early summer. If it's much later than that, we'll probably have to push it back awhile. But we will see. Is it crazy to take a baby that small? I don't really know.. i saw lots of really little ones while we were there... I just don't know how baby friendly it is.

:mickeyjum :mickeyjum8 MORE DAYS ! YAAAHOOOO !!!! :mickeyjum :mickeyjum

VMK- Congrats on your family planning !!!:cloud9: I can only tell you that when our boys were small....the first time we took them was at 3 years old....and now that I have a Perfectly Princess DGD....she`s going for the first time at 3 years old too....Yes- I know there are alot of babies at the world....it`s got to be entirely up to you...and....how you can handle it...
I might have attempted 2 yrs old...(Im wihsing my Son and DDIL feel that way too....so PP can come with us NEXT year instead !! LOLprincess:

Mouseaddicts- Can`t wait to see your pics !!

TP- Are you packing yet ?

MKY- Hope all goes well with your MRI

EE- Focus on making those Ressies now !!!!!pixiedust:

thanks! :) Does disney have special places for moms and babies? I know there's an amusement park we go to all the time not far from home.. and they have a place for moms to go.. with really small babies.. to take care of them and relax out of the sun.. etc.

Hey Chloe -When's your DH's b-day? Mine's Oct. 6th.

Yes - Disney does have Baby Care Centers for moms & infants to rest, change, nurse, etc.

MKY - When are you cruising? I just noticed your ticker! We're contemplaing a Disney cruise for 2008, but we'll see about that price!!!

Chloe, That is great news!:wizard: Yes, they have baby care centers attached to all first aid areas. Very baby friendly. But it would be up to how you can handle it & how the baby is. (i would think). My older sis, says "You (i) know nothing about kids. (guess 27 yrs of pediatric nurse, i must not of been paying attention?) But the temperment of both you and baby would be a good judge. I think people do better if they try to stick to there "normal" schedule too. Naps, breaks, and feeding times. Off season is a great time to go. But be ware that October is prime time, and higher prices than value season. We paid a fortune last October. Cheaper this year after thanksgiving. That is why for Nov. we are staying at CSR (and to try it out), then after sunday following Thanksgiving we move to Poly.

Mouseaddict's, yes we are going in August 08' on the wonder. Right now I have money down on 2 different cruises in august. :wizard: We have to see when we get our vacations next year. But next year, the wonder is (all summer) doing 2 stops at castaway cay!:woohoo: So that will be great. The magic is going to the west coast (i think). Disney cruises are actually cheaper the farther out you book them. We booked both of ours, when they where announced last fall. I have a great cabin saved too. Back of ship with extra large balcony. Cat. 6, with white wall side. Lots of people don't care for the white wall balcony, but i like them, and they are larger.;)

Tomar, you are sooooooooooooooo close!:smickey: :mickeyjum :smickey: :mickeyjum :smickey: :mickeyjum :smickey: :mickeyjum

EE22, So what are you planning for 08? when? where? duh > akl? Are you ready with all your info for calling?

TP2, we are thinking about getting our suitcases down, to air out? Did you keep your stuff out already?

Happy planning, Mky!:cutie:

MKY, somehow I knew you'd know the answer;) You should have the place completely memorized!! I hope I get to Disney as many times as you do before I met the Mouse in the sky.

Yup...I'm ready to make my ressies. Can't wait:banana: I'm sort of nervous. It's not as easy as calling CRO.

It's like the learning curve associated with cruises. When DH and I take one, I'll look to you for advice that's for sure.

Tomorrow, Tomar is on 7 and I am on 6:banana:

His Birthday is September 7th, but we would probably go around our anniversary which is the 18th. My brother's is October 9th though! That one is closer to you!

Thanks for the info everyone... yeah.. I got my test results back today... and they believe I have PCOS... so they are gonna probably start me on a provera/clomid combination.. hopefully it doesn't take too long! I have to have more bloodwork on Thursday!

MKY: Good luck on Friday with your MRI. You will be in my thoughts.

I still have luggage down from Niagara Falls. I see no need to put it away when we have another vacation only 6 weeks away. :lmao: Of course, if we were going anywhere else that luggage would have been in the attic until 2 days before.

EE22: I know what you mean about things being different than just calling CRO. I think because we know so much about how to plan a Disney trip one way it is so hard to differ from the course. This year I tried to plan something other than Disney and it was really hard. Of course we are going back, so it just goes to show you.

VMK: As for taking the baby. We took our youngest as an infant only because our oldest was 6 1/2 and I wanted her to go while there was still magic. Our youngest was great about being in the stroller so she was pretty easy. Where the problem comes in is when the baby sleeps. Also, if you are using formula it is hard to keep it in the hot Florida heat. If you go with the idea of keeping it a very laid back trip with minimal hours in the park each day you will be fine. That first year we NEVER saw the fireworks. I thought we would see them every night but with the baby it was just too hard. Also, they make you leave the stroller before getting in line so you will be holding the baby a lot. I would agree with Tomar and say 3 is probably a great age. Our baby is just about there now and she is SO excited for this trip. She has been waking each day and asking to see the castle and the princesses. She understands and I know she is going to love it. Last year at this time she could have cared less if we went or not. Whatever you decide, you will have a wonderful time. Just know that it will be very different and maybe even a lot more relaxing.

thanks! Yeah.. we know that he/she wouldn't remember much that young.. but WE want to go back! lol It would definitely be relaxing. This last trip was great in that we were able to do all of the really big rides and stuff we couldn't take a small infant on.. and that is what we focused on for this very reason.. knowing we were going to a specialist when we got back.. and that it would probably be our only and last trip alone to enjoy JUST what we wanted to do. We may wait till he/she is at least 2 or so.. so they would get more out of it.... and just put it off.. now we are talking about taking a family vacation to missouri.. (everyone in my immidiate family) to meet up with some family from Texas.. kinda in the middle.. next summer. So who knows what will happen! We'll just have to wait and see.

princess: chloe, sounds like a good idea! You have it worked out.

TP2, your inspiring me, i am taking the luggage down this weekend. (bad foot and all). :dance3: popcorn:: :dance3:

Happy tuesday! Just got home, from re-certing cpr. exhausted working on the dummies. EE22, do teachers have to certify cpr?
Look out east coasters, ee22 sent us rain and storms. Was bad here all morning, and now trying to clear up. Of course, cause they where supposed to start work on riping up our old deck, and putting the new deck on. So should be raining there in a day or 2.

mky!:cutie:

You got that right Mky...I was looking for the boat this morning!!
Poured last night and this morning. We are due for the same for 3 more days!!

I already practiced dialing and figuring which number to press;)

Only coaches have to do cpr training. We did it when I was pregnant in case we needed it for the kiddies though. I have never re-certified though.
