Hiya all!

Tomar: Dimetrius is "james" in english according to my dad. His "greek" name is Halabous Dimetrius aka Harry James. Our last name has been americaned too cut off about 3/4 of it. Grandpa wanted to sound american. I do like that name too.

EE22: They won't go for a disney name. :confused3 My parakeet I named ZAZU cause he is blue and white. They call him BIRD. :guilty: I told them if the dog looks more brown we could name him Simba and they said NO way! good try thou.

TP2: Thanks. :dog: Yes, our trip was very nice. Cannot believe how fast it all went. Next year we are only doing 1 trip. Should make planning easier.

WOW, the countdowns :hourglass are moving! EE your on what 5 WEEKS? TOmar: 8 months. Mky 9 months. TP2 thinking?
Home enjoying my cold today.

MKY: I have been thinking a bit but not DH. The girls want to go back. We got free tickets from Southwest so that does make the argument easier. We have to see, maybe if we stay offsite he will go for it. I am curious about the magical moments. Did you see any happen or get any pixie dust of your own?

Hey MKY :wave2: - thank you for sharing your vacation pics :goodvibes
Great Pictures :thumbsup2 You guys looked like you were having sooo much fun for MNSSHP :hmghost: Was the first 2 of the prision outfits.?..I couldn`t tell...
The "Disney" nurses uniforms are so cute.... ;) And....the MK looks amazing in the pictures at night....we never took the photopass pics in the evening..
thank you again for sharing them...and allowing us to meet.....MKY...and her SIS.. :goodvibes

EE22- Are ya getting ready? :tinker: :santa: :santa: The perfectly princess is arriving on tuesday.....and that means 30 days for you ! :bounce:

TP2- HI ! Im sure your 3 princesses are keeping you very busy... :goodvibes I had to laugh about the girls birthdays, my 2 DS`s birthdays are 7 days apart as well....and when they were small...I used to try to give them a party on the same day too....one with friends and one with the family......then they also wanted they`re own, on thier OWN day :earseek: Thier b-days are in January......so from Christmas... to Feb. I was non stop....as Im sure you were this month!!! ;)

Tomar: You know EXACTLY what I have been going through. It started October 29 with DD6 friends party. She wanted it at a small amusement park that closes that day for the season. We had hers early but I have been running nonstop since before Halloween. Then we had the family on each of their days, 11/10 and 11/14 and my DD8 had her party at a horse back riding place and that was 11/11. I am so done with these parties, I said next year we will host Thanksgiving and celebrate their birthdays on the holiday. They can still have a party with their friends but the family has to be toned down. Any now I have no interest in Christmas, which is terrible. I always loved the holiday and now I don't even want to decorate.

MKY: Thanks so much for sharing the pictures. It was great to finally "meet" you and your sister. MK does look special decorated for Halloween. I would love to go over some holiday but I think that is probably out of the picture because DH would NEVER take the kids out of school for vacation, nor would he miss work for that matter. But it is nice to see others pictures.

Hiya,

Yes, I was surprised the pictures at nite turned out pretty clear. The orange outfits where the prison outfits. Closer up you can tell. You can't see the handcuffs. We didn't know what to do with our hair etc.. So I suggested pigtails for sis & I actually have a bandana on around my head. Also have a black eye & a mickey tatoo on my face. We do not look a lot alike. She is 6 years younger than me.

Was anyone like me out with the crazies this morning? Got some good deals, of course I stopped by Disney Store but did a lot of that shopping online last night.

EE22: 29 days!!! Wow!!! How exciting for your family. I am just trying to get all shopping done before we hit December.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

The only thing I went out for was a new washer  mine broke on Wednesday. I was putting my last loaf of bread (I made 30 loaves) in the freezer and it quit working :sad2: I swear I am not meant to have vacations!! Spring break: family all had the flu and the water heater went out. Right before WDW: the drain backed up and now my washer goes hay wire. At least the store we buy from was open. It comes Monday. I was so upset and DH brought me around to reality. He said, "we go on vacation for 10 days and you never do wash." DS Thanksgiving night asked if we had to wear the same underwear again :rotfl: We bought a front loader since I do so much laundry. It uses 15 gallons of water rather than 50 and it can wash 16 pairs of jeans at once!! :laundy: I figure I can do all of our laundry from WDW in two loads!!!

TP2: Enjoy the shopping and fun when they are young. I bought two gift cards this year! Next year I'll probably buy gas cards.

I miss our Disney Store.

I did find a mini tree and lights and mini stockings for our room.

I'm trying to contain my excitement at this point! It may drive me mad. I'm glad we leave the very next day after we get out for break.

For all of you who are planning a trip in June July and August hang on an get set to make your 180 adr's. The trip will be here in no time.

I say this not as an owner, but as a memeber. We will be going in 10 days and I was where you are six months ago.

Hang in there,

Maz

I am holding my breath waiting for Saturday. DD15 and DH are going to a concert, and the baby and I are setting our ADRs

hiya everyone!

Hope everyone's holiday was great! It was ok here. Everyone is still sick. Weather was unbelieveable. 50's! :sunny: I never got any christmas shopping going thou. :hourglass

EE22, How many days? you are getting soooooooooo close! :cheer2: Start packing!

Tomar, how was the company? The baby? :cloud9:

TP2, Watch for our great weather. ;) Glad your into the season already.

We have a new family addition: Announcing our adoption of 8 week old german shepherd. Lord Anakin Darth Vader von Kar of westfield. "Vader" is beauitful, smart, and very loving. I have had 3 hours of sleep. Thanks everyone for your support. :grouphug:

Well back to work tommorrow, everyone have a great day. princess:

27 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LOVE the name of your dog!! :thumbsup2
What a great idea!!
Good luck with the training :darth:

Tomar is out of comission until she gets her computer up. She went down Tuesday. I don't know if that's it or if they are just so busy with the DGD.

Hey guys!!

I am hoping to get in a trip in Sept but it might turn to August because I am a teacher, so I would love to join!

I have gone in Sept and Aug so far. One day would love to do Nov or Dec but that is hard for me and CROWDED so we go with the fall or summer for now

Just wanted to say hello to you! :sunny:

MKY: Sorry to hear everyone was sick but congrats on the pup!
I know how you feel about getting 3 hours sleep. When we first got Sully, I had dd2 and the dog on either side of me while I slept on the couch. She was jealous of him and me giving him attention. It lasted about 3 days and then he was able to sleep in the cage alone without crying. I hope yours goes so quickly as well.

EE22: Sorry about the washer. And why were you making 30 loaves of bread :stir: ??? I bet you are excited about the new washer though. I love getting new appliances. They are so much more efficient. You are really getting there. I can't believe your next trip is so close. We MAY and that is a BIG MAY, go back this summer. The girls keep saying how it is really their favorate place and would love to go. Being that the flights are already paid for makes the negotiations a bit easier. We shall see as we get closer. DH won't even talk about it now, not until after the holidays.

I did get lots of shopping done. I am always so stressed out for Christmas that I get sick each year. I swore last year that I would start early so I could actually enjoy the holiday this year. We put up the tree and did the outside lights. It is a start.

Glad everyone enjoyed the long weekend.

30 loaves of bread and mega tons of cookies. 40 dozen I would estimate.
I send the bread to my relatives...mom & step dad, step mom, brother and family, aunt and uncle, grandpa and grandma, friend, friend and friend. I made up 49 gift bags with cookies for the teachers, custodians, secretaries and food service people at DD's school. Last year. I can't keep up at the high school. It's just too big! DH took the boxes to UPS tonight. Grandpa's weighed in at 25 pounds :teeth: He'll be 94 years young this year.

Ever since we stopped going to Michigan for Christmas I have always had Christmas done by the Monday after Thanksgiving so I could enjoy the holiday season. So...I still do it. That way if there are last minute items to do it's not too big of a deal. Even running errands this time of year is a major headache with all the people out and about. The PO was packed today.

MKY...hope you're doing better. TP2 stay well :goodvibes

26 days :cheer2:

DD and I watched the Food Network show on WDW At the holidays. Looks amazing. But, I noticed two things...everyone wearing pants...and ALL THE PEOPLE!!!

EE22: Wow you go girl. I bake every year too but always wait until the week before. I was thinking of freezing cookies this year to get a head start. I have to assume you do the same.

It seems that Disney is crowded all of the time now. No real down time at the parks like there used to be. I wonder how long it will last. If we go next summer I think it will be August again. I will wait to see if any specials come flying by.

Enjoy the season.

Yes, I do freeze the cookies and then I usually end up making one batch closer to the holiday or over break.

I think you are right...Disney is always busy now.

I hope you can go again. I know you had a good time and the kids are only young for such a short time.

Enjoying the Season is what it's all about
