Candi: Have a wonderful trip.:goodvibes

EE22: We did the paperchain back in 2005 and DH said the same thing. Why don't you practice your alphabet or read a book! Love that new signature. It is so pretty. Seems that more and more companies are doing them now. They used to be so boring and now there are so many choices.

Tomar: We are having the exact same weather. Beautiful this morning and now it is black and threatening rain.

MKY: I never thought about the different germs aspect but I bet you are right. Just like not drinking the water in Mexico.;) I think I may budget a car into our next trip.

Allergies are killing all of us this year. Hope everyone else is fairing well. Enjoy the spring!:flower3:

I think that it is a very creative idea!!

I bet it`s a beautiful Paper chain DL11 !:goodvibes

TP2- Same here...it was bright and sunny this morning...and now it is pouring rain !!...ICK
My DS is haveing a bad time of it with his allergies this week..I believe he is getting a Broncitis infection on top of the Asthma now...:scared1: This is the exact same thing I had back in April....
I can`t lysol my house enough all day today  !!!
Hope you guys get some relief soon...it`s probably everything that`s growing now...plus the rain and pollen....I opened the windows this morning and had to get all the "Green" pollen off of them (grrrr.... and I just washed all the windows a couple of weeks ago ! )....

Candi- HAVE A GREAT TRIP !!! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

If you need a fridge we got lots of available dates. Check us out! click link at bottom of my siggie!!

Hiya everyone!

Candy Have a great trip!! I hope you have a great flight. :wizard: In 1 day you will have been in 3 different countries and 2 contients! WOW, you world traveler!:thumbsup2

Tomar, Be careful. Your resistance is lowered because of the april attack, so you could be suspetible to another. Sounds like the right track with the lysol.

EE22, Congrat's to DS Pictures where great. He had a terriffic season. As did DonaldLover11.;)

TP2, We always rent a car, it makes life much easier.

I think DS is getting Disney fever > She told me to start pricing out airfare for March 09'. Due to the price increases.

I can't believe may is almost over. Seems like summer is around the corner.

Mky:cutie:

Has anyone taken the train from Chicago to WDW we were told we that it has car space, we were thinking if we are in MI with your youngest before we go we might just take it and have an extra adventure rather then the long drive.:rotfl2:

One last post before I head to bed. We are leaving at 9:30 am tomorrow since we are suppose to be at the airport 3 hours before the flight.

Thanks for the well wishes everyone. Send a little pixie dust that my mom's engery is high and she manages all the walking well.

MKY - the airfare for next March is crazy! :scared1: I am watching it to see if it comes down at all. The normal high for March is $325-350 and next year it is pricing at $550! :scared1: :scared1: We may add a couple days to the trip to drop the price and fly from mid week to mid week. I am NOT paying that kind of money.

:grouphug:

Talk to you soon.

Candi, BonVoyage! You should be on the high seas by now!:wizard:

It is 60 here today, cloudy. Hope this weekend is nice, I am off the weekend but work monday. That's ok my holiday off is the 4th of July.:thumbsup2

Tried to do some planning research for March 09' and either too early to plan. Rates not out for 09' yet, or way too expensive airfare. :confused3 Think I will wait awhile.

Happy Tuesday, mky:cutie:

Candi is cruising! Wow, I sure hope they are having a FABULOUS time! Hopefully we'll all get to hear about it & see some pics when they return.

EE22 - Congrats to your DS!!! 11th in state is pretty impressive! :thumbsup2

So ..... my ticker says 1 day to go ....... and guess who isn't packed!?!
I'm working on it ........:laundy:

We are crossing our fingers that the new Toy Story Mania will be in soft opening during our visit. We will head over there Saturday AM in hopes of riding it .... maybe 2-3 times in a row! :3dglasses

I have to go to the office today, but I get to work from home tomorrow. It's the kids' last day of school and they have awards ceremonies at school. We also "close" early tomorrow for the holiday weekend & DH is off, so we might get to leave a little bit early & get to WDW before the middle of the night - for a change!

Hope everyone has a great day! We'll probably stop back at least once before we load up! :flower3:

Hope everyone is enjoying there holiday weekend. I am working tommorrow. :rolleyes1 Hopefully business is slow. Keep your fingers crossed.

Has anyone here, looked into the netgrocer.com idea? or considered it? We are, but not sure, thanks

Happy planning, mky:cutie:

Oh, I have missed so much.

Mouseaddicts: I think you are back already. I heard that Toy Story Mania was open, hope you got on. Can't wait to hear all about it. Hope you had a wonderful trip. I agree with MKY, wish I were close enough to drive.

MKY: We use WEGOSHOP every year and have told everyone we know about it. With the kids we NEED certain things in the room and this was the only way to do it. To buy everything in WDW is a fortune. If you are on the dining plan you may not need it but the service is wonderful. They contact you by cell, always as I am approching the hotel. Never waited for them. You let them know your flight info and they check if you delayed. I really can't say enough.

Tomar: So glad you escaped without another illness and your DS is feeling better. I have not written anything. We have been so busy. Having a party this weekend for DD3 B-day. We started working on the property and tore out bushes and created a huge mess for ourselves. I will start working on that trip next week when I am out of the birthday party woods!

Have a great week everyone.

Hiya everyone!

TP2, thanks for the info on wegoshop. I will look into it. Due to the luggage constraints > I have been shopping the day of arrival for almost all essentials. toothpaste, etc... . then water, pop, snacks, fruit, whatever. We are not on the dining plan. It really does not save me anything > with staying at cr or poly, and only 2 or 3 of us. max will be 11yr's when we go so its an adult tix (already bought at ds) and adult dining. Hopefully, we can OOP get him the kids mac n' cheese cause that is all he will eat anyway. During the 25th birthday of WDW, I won the MacDonald's 4 day trip all inculsive :cool1: but the dining, was crazy. Spent all days in resturants. :confused3 They where all sit down's so I have a feeling I would not care for the free dining or DP's they offer. I like having adr's but we swing it alot. split meals, last minute cancels or changes etc... . Since the free plans > this has been a lot tougher.

Good luck on the yard. We are slowing attaching some bushes ourselves. They have a mind of there own, and plannning to pick up our fence and take it with them somewhere else.:confused3

Good luck with the B-day party. pixiedust: for some good weather.

Weather here is nuts. It was really nice this weekend and yesterday hit 81. and humid, I had my 1st afro of the season.:rotfl: But during the nite it dropped and right now we are at a high of 43. :worried: Come on June!

mky :cutie:

MKY: Can't believe that you won that all inclusive. :woohoo: That must have been so exciting. I have won concert tickets and that was pretty exciting but nothing like an all exclusive vacation. I would probably pass out.:hyper:

I don't think we will be doing the dining plan again either. DD9 will be 10 by the time we go next year and she does not eat enough to warrant the extra cost. Not to mention everyone keeps saying that this year will be so nice to vacation and not have dining reservations that we need to run to all the time. I think we will make a couple of reservations to do the princesses for DD3 but other than that, we are thinking of renting a car and we will figure it out as we go. Maybe even stay offsite unless I get a code again but I won't hold my breath.

TP2, Yes, it was exciting, but I always "knew" I would win. Odd but I have never seriously tried to win anything before or since & when I first heard of the contest > I had a feeling that we would win. They where giving out about 500 prizes and I bought $100.00 investment in stamps, envelopes and 3 x5 cards mailed a handful daily and the contest ended didn't hear a thing for months the end came and thought oh well> then they delievered a letter we had to sign for and sure enough > we won. I took our parents and ds, we got the CR garden, and all meals for 4 days, flew delta and had all the extras like bikes, boats, etc.... We went in april. We finally gave up trying to use all the free bees' and had a bunch left over, so we ds and I returned in a few months and did the rest. Only problem was the taxes.

We use adr's as guidlines and a backup. but usually I will do what we feel like. Having a car is wonderful. I could do car tours of the surrounding areas. Especially like a target with rootbeer drive in in the parking lot. They are open late.:)

mky:cutie:

MKY: Funny thing you mention the taxes. I have heard that you get killed, sometimes more than what you would pay for the whole trip just in taxes. They tax you on suggested retail price which we all know is meant to be discounted.:rotfl: I would love to hear about that trip. Sounds like you had no time to visit the parks with all the freebees they gave. Thats the part that intrigues me.

I want to see how our trip this year works out. I like not having to think while being away, no need for maps and such but if it keeps the kids healthy it will be worth it. I am sure there are tons of great places to eat around there too. Would be fun to eat at a drive in. New side of a Disney trip. I also hate the last day, always a waste using ME. They want you there 3 hours before departure, all the waiting ususally wastes the last day and we always travel on the 8pm flight.

Hi Guys :goodvibes
TP2- Happy Birthday to DD3::bday: :bday: ...Hope she enjoyed her special day !
We were working in the back yard this weekend as well...our Azaleas are in full bloom right now !:flower3:
I agree about being on a rigid schedule in the world ...I too make ADR`s ....but keep an open mind on being flexable when possible !;)

MKY- How wonderful that you won a trip to the world...and all inclusive at that !! We were fortunate also to have won a trip back in 2000...( we took the whole family with us then)... and yes we had to pay taxes on the trip too (which Mr. Tomar wasn`t thrilled about:crazy: )
Our local radio station was having a "Disney Fall Getaway"...and I just had the same feeling as you did ..that I was going to win it !! :cloud9:
It wasn`t long after that ..that we bought into DVC...:goodvibes
The Disney magic was always ...and will always be in my heart !!

EE22- we`re getting soooooo close now to our trips !!!!!
party: party: party: party: party: party: party:
