Mky - Thanks to you again for all of your posts! I've also been jumping out of bed around 5:00 or 5:30 each morning to check all the sites, but today when I woke up, I managed to convince myself to fall back asleep until 8:00. I'll be up bright and early tomorrow, though! We just switched our dates from 6/30-7/8 to 7/7-7/15 to give us a better shot at codes (just in case) and for slightly better airfare (although I'm still hoping for a good DING out of Hartford!) I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for all the early June people!

Anyone else wearing their Lime Green Mickey to the parks on their trip? Do you ever actually see anyone else wearing them? I'm planning to give it a try this year!

Ok, I must be missing something - fill me in! What does this mean?

I've read on the boards that DIS board posters wear Lime Green Mickey pins or ribbons when they're at WDW so they can spot fellow DIS board members. I found this info posted in another thread:

"Lime green ribbons have been used by The DIS people for years to identify each other. Wear one if you want to say Hello to other DIS'ers....someone on The DIS came up with this really neat idea.

Go to your nearest Home Depot store, and go to the area where they sell paint. There should be a display for Disney paint. All the swatches are in the shape of MICKEY heads. There is a perfect lime green color called "Alien Green". These are perfect to cut out and wear on your shirt.

I'm going to wear the lime green MICKEY heads WITH my lime green ribbon dangling from it."

Some people write their DIS board username on the Mickey head. Sounds like fun. I'm in! I always wondered how we could recognize each other. It's not like we look like our avatars!

I tie lime green ribbons to ds's stroller and to my mini-backpack. This year I'm getting the lime green Home Depot mickey heads to tape to our window at CBR. Probably won't at the Poly since they are inside corridors.

Hope to meet some Disser's. THis is our fifth trip in three years and I've only met one other Disser and that was by accident at Spectromagic.

I just reread it. You are right. I was up at 6:50 this morning with the baby and just decided to not bother with the computer being it was Sunday. I will be checking throughout the day though and first thing tomorrow morning.

I too am waiting for an AP rate. I have an AAA rate for AKL Savanah view. Are AAA rates ever better than AP rates? How will I know which is the better deal?

Tomorrow I will receive my 20 year service award and it's a big hunk of glass...I'd rather have a Disney giftcard. I'm gonna smash something with it if ap rates don't come out!!!

Usually AAA rates are not as good as AP.....typically they are like 15% off, at least that is what AAA told me. We have had annual passes for the last 8 years, and I can't recall AAA ever beating the AP rates. However, at least it is some discount!!!!

what kind of discounts are we looking for? I'm looking to discount my package and I'm not a FL resident nor an AP holder so would there ever be anything available for me?
