I just tried to get into the Passholder site & got an error message. Now I know that that doesn't really mean anything since so many of you have had similar experiences ....... but, we are getting close to the 45 day window for June 4th, right??? ughhhh It's soooo

So, we'll keep our chins up & hope we will be able to afford more than PB&J while we're there!

But I am happy with my AAA rate at the WL for July. If AP rates are released and they're lower, then I'll be . But I'm not 'depending' on anything right now. It sounds like lots of you have your hopes held high - I wish you lots of pixie dust and hope that tomorrow morning brings GREAT news!

45 days from 6/4 is 4/20 which is Thursday.

I just checked that AP site. This is a change from before isn't it? They didn't exclude that weekend before. ??

I checked mousesavers too and it was a continuous time from 4/23/06-6/03/06.

Well, I didn't have HIGH hopes for the discount but it WOULD be an added bonus at this point, since our trip has already been paid for and budgeted for.

There was a thought that they would come out after the 45 day window for June because of packages and their cancellation policy.

I wish they would just get it over with. This is the worse part. Agony. I had to buy ap's for everyone going anyway because of the amount of days. So that is not a deciding factor or matter to me. But I would like to know our final price $$$ when this all works out. I hate worrying about it. Or if I will be splitting with dolphin or just staying poly the entire time.

As this goes on I start work at 7am central, so I am now getting up at 5am to be ready to go at 6am, so that I can be on the phone and online checking. Last year I was almost late for work being on hold for so long..... . I just wish I could get some sleep.

I've been hoping everyday, like all of you, and reading your posts and was starting to get frustrated because we leave in 58 days. So, I thought I'd share what I learned this weekend, for those who may be as unaware of this great savings as I was. I was booked at Pop through AAA, so I did get a discount, but decided I wanted to at least stay at a mod because we will be at Disney for 10 days and this is our 4th trip in the last 2 years, so we plan to be relaxing more and enjoying the little things about Disney this time. So, finally I broke down and booked POR at rack rate, which has been driving me nuts, since I've never had to pay rack before. On Saturday, I just happened to read something about renting DVC points and how much you could save, so I started checking into it. Well, long story short, I am now booked at SSR. When I checked the Disney site, my total for my stay was $3000.06. I'm paying $1492!! Basically, nothing else is different than if we booked through Disney. We'll be staying in a studio that has a small kitchette. We still get the dining plan (without having to purchase park tickets), and we get a pool that my dd7 is salavating over and constantly asking to see the pics of. I'm so giddy, I just can't stand it!! I could never even have hoped to stay at a deluxe before!
I was hoping to get a studio at BW, but it is too close to our travel time and only SSR was left. Hopefully, all will go well, and I will start to plan next year's trip early enough to stay at BW or BC.

This is definitely a change because I have the AP rate for Memorial Day weekend at BWI.

Hi Julie,
Yes, I went to the DVC rent boards and posted that I was looking for points and how many I would need. There is a points calculator over at the DVC area of this site to help you figure out how many you would need. The average cost is $10/point. The gentleman I'm renting my points from called this morning and said he still has some, and if you'd like to call him, he'd be happy to talk to you and see if it would work out. PM me if you'd like his number. He has been very helpful and informative to me.
