Hi all! Dh and I will be joining this cruise as well with our DD who will be 1.5 years old then - we are huge Disney fans so it has been hard not to take her there yet - we are hoping that the characters don't scare her and also hoping that she falls in love with Disney too!

Anyone know about signing up for the nursery? I know we can't do it until 75 days before the sailing - will we have any shot at getting spots?

Also, this may sound silly - but how do we travel on the buses with her? Do we need a car seat or can she just sit on our laps for the ride? I know we only have to do the one back and forth to WDW but I can't seem to find any info on it.

Welcome aboard!!! I am Jen.. I will be traveling with my DH Mark and 2 girls, My parents and my brother, his wife and 2 kids .. We are sooooo excited!

When we took our 1st cruise in 2008 our daughter was a little over 2. She rode on our lap on the bus to and from PC..

Glad our group is getting bigger!

Thanks for the info about riding with her on our lap - that was what I was hoping you would say! Bringing a car seat would be quite interesting!!!!!
I am so excited! And BTW my DH is also a "Mark"
I keep asking her if she wants to meet Mickey Mouse - she smiles whenever I say his name! So super excited! WE are trying to get my parents to also join us as they are big Disney fans and being in the NJ area really helps - so excited not to have to fly! We cruised out of NJ before and it was SO easy! Vacation starts as soon as you board the ship! Yay!!!

My DD will be graduating out of Elementary school also! She thinks it is the best way to celebrate!!

We are on board too dd will be graduating college, start saving for college and another Disney Cruise . I will be celebrating the big 5-0.

Can't believe I just found this site I thought I knew everything about Disney, was on cruisecritic.com read a great review by "karajeboo" she indirectly referenced this site.

Can't wait 339 days and counting.

Sarahsmom thanks for the welcoming, we are way past excited my almost 21 year old is going to school in Charlotte, NC and is doing all the planning I am just signing the "check".

Going to Disney World in October just so we can use are pirate costumes no sense in paying for a costume and only using it once at least that is how we rationalize our crazy Disney addiction

Crazy Disney Addiction and I go hand in hand!! LOL and almost 21 year old.. if my almost 10 year old gets to celebrate graduating from 5th grade on this cruise I can't wait to see what she thinks she needs for 8th grade graduation and 12th grade.. YIKES! It could be back to backs.. Darn.. That would be a bummer!

Anyone know who easy/difficult it will be to book time at Flounders Nursery? And anyone know the hours that it operates?
Thanks! We only plan to use it a couple times during our trip but am nervous because we can't book it until 75 days out as this is our first Disney cruise.

Is there a set night schedule yet for our cruise? How many dinners are more formal? Is there going to be a pirates night? I can't seem to find any reports of a similar itinerary to ours as it is 8 nights... any guesses?

Unfortunately, we wont have any reports until after the first NY cruise goes out and back in May. I'm sure they will post lots of info & Navigators so we will be able to plan accordingly.

I would guess they will have a formal, semi-formal, and pirate night. Possibly a second formal or semi-formal night. I am eagerly awaiting more info.
