Someone was talking about the dims on the mickey ears for their door... I'm having DH work on that on Mother's Day (part of my gift)...what are the dims supposed to be...just so he knows?

The dims for the ears are approx 4.75 " wide and 3.75" tall. I'll be working on mine. If your DH finds an easy way to do them let me know. The ones I printed off DisBoards were too small.

Well it's been one very busy week for me, glad it's over and the weekend is here.

So how did your Mickey ear's come out? Did you have a nice Mother's day? I will be working on my ears and Minnie bow this weekend.

I still have to work Saturday yet....

Mother's Day was nice.... started working on signs.... nowhere near finished tho...

We haven't worked on the ears yet....have DH figuring out stuff and layering on Photobshop and stuff.......but, DH did make a sign using his Photoshop.... I still have to crop it and attach magnets, but I will get around to posting a pic of it soon..... (i hope )

Good luck w/ your ears & bow... I'm trying to figure a way to print an outline of the ears so i can trace the pattern onto cardstock and cut them out (save on the ink )

My ears are done but still have the bow to do. Do you scrapbook, saw you refered to card stock. I printed my ears one the cricut then ran them through the Xyron magnet cartridge. It worked really well. My cricut is new and still working out how to use it.

This weekend has flown by, 6 weeks from today we will be sailing away. I can't wait

Ok....I'm busted.

I do scrapbook...in the little spare time I actually DO have

I have a Xyron machine, but it's for stickers, not magnets. I was thinking of laminating our signs and then applying the magnet....I assume most people laminate them?

My only concern with doing ears, is that they will get stolen We are near the elevators, and I can just see someone liking them and taking them. So, I was thinking of personalizing them too....matter of fact, I want to personalize everything with our room number or names....that way, I'm sure nobody will take anything!

Happy to hear your ears turned out good....hoping to get DH to work on them today....I cannot work Photoshop to save my life! So, I tell him what to do, and he figures it out and does it for me. (He is still in the learning process himself ) He already made 1 sign....I will have to take a pic and post it...

It is so nice, I have photo shop but have no clue how to use it. The sign came out really good. He's a genius. I did have some help from my BF for my Pirate page. I also made 2 name badges for the door.

I purchased the full page protectors (clear) with the magnet on the back for my full page door sign's instead of laminating the whole sheet. They were only about $2 bucks.

I sure hope people don't steal anything off of the door. For goodness sake your on a Disney cruise. I did read the treads about it all though. It's a shame. Most everything I have will be personalized or I will put our room number on the back.

I've been getting my scrapbookings stuff together for the cruise. I love the shopping, I think I like shopping for scrapbook stuff as much as the actual scrapping.

Like I said, DH is learning how to PS the stuff I want done too...

Apparently, he just googles what he wants to know in PS and it seems to be helping him....

It IS sad that some people will steal stuff off yer door....they are just jealous (cuz they probably didn't know the doors are metal) and want it for themselves... ....that's why I want to personalize everything on the front.... I even thought about a sign that said 'stolen from the Tauschers' Even thinking about putting the ears up, taking a pic, and then writing our names on them after they are up...just so someone doesn't steal them! After all...I am NOT running around the ship on my vacation looking for my stolen ears!


I would hope nobody would steal anything of yours....being it's your honeymoon and all

At this time in 6 weeks we will be getting ready for the sail away party. I can't wait but I have soooooo much to do I have my weekly list but with getting the house, moving, planning the wedding and honeymoon I don't know if I am going to be able to keep it all straight.

We have 2 massages booked and wonder if I need to add another.

I managed to do a lime green mickey head for the door today too. I made an extra set of ears for my BF, they cruise the Magic quite often. I should have made and extra set for myself.

I'll try to figure how to post my pics and send them this week. Think I am going to try PS thing this afternoon.

Yes were are very excited about the upgrade.

I never did go to the photoshop again. I'll have to let you know how is goes once I have more time on my hands.

I have a busy couple weeks coming. Glad I made the signs I already did. Not sure if I will get more done before the cruise.

Have your cruise documents come in yet?

Are ya'll going to be dressing for pirate night? We are just doing the pirate t-shirt thing and I have some tatoo's

My gal hasn't let me know docs are here yet...I don't expect them this week...maybe the next

We are dressing to the nines for pirate night. DH even bought a jack sparrow hat w/ the hair attached and we even got a parrot for Bubba's shoulder We ended up (on a whim) buying costumes and accessories at Halloween time.... so, yep...if you see a family of 3 dressed to the nines, with an older lady (my Mom) who is NOT dressed like a pirate at all, that'd be us

Keep pluggin away at those wedding plans..... they are almost over

I am glad to here you are going all out for the pirate night. Wish my DH2B would but I know better to even ask. I am sure the costumes are wonderful.

I have really been enjoying making all my plans. I can't believe so much time has flown by. I'll be sad when all the plans are done but now have the house to fix up. That will be my next project along with getting my scrapbook updated.

I will finally have a place to put all my scrapbook stuff out and work on it all the time. I may get our trip from last Sept done. I still have wedding and honeymoon to go.

Have you seen and specific Disney cruise scrapbook items on the vessel that you can not get at any of the stores?

I can't wait to lounge by the pool on The Wonder with a large margarita!!!

This is our first Disney cruise... but according to other vets, they do have cruise scrappin' stuff onboard....at least, that's what I can read into it.
