Starting to look ahead.....

Is anyone interested in doing a "swap"- either for goodies or magnets or both?

I hope we aren't jinxed!

While the swap sounds fun, I don't think I'll participate. Mostly cuz I don't think I'd have the time to 'prepare'....heck, with my schedule, I'm thinking I won't even have any time to do a 'door decoration'....

(I have a very tight schedule....I work 2 part time jobs over the course of 6 days/nights...plus, my son is very active in karate and soccer and he is at one or the other every night....with travel games on Saturdays.... Sunday is my only day off...but that is saved for laundry, food shopping, errands, family time, etc... Sad...I know.... I'm just going to relax and don't want to disappoint anyone if I don't have any time to participate.... sorry But, I DO want to check out yer gear )

I am with Bubba's Mom on the exchange thing. I have been so crazy busy at work that I feel like I can't live up to all my commitments right now. I am also training at any given time for a race (my next one is a 15k at WDW on 5/4 IF a trial I have for 5/5 gets continued). I am also trying to plan our Disney Fairy Tale Vow Renewal and my to-do list gets longer instead of shorter, the closer we get.
I LOVE walking down the corridors and seeing magnets, etc. and am hoping to make some for my cabin, my Mother-in-Law/kids' cabin & our friends', but am not sure I will get to it.

Can't make my ressies till Friday morning....(our first Disney cruise)....but it's okay....

We aren't doing anything exciting...we plan to snorkel ... ALOT!! Doing the rays and maybe a bike ride....that's about it?? Depending what Bubba thinks...maybe the banana boat too

Hey everyone, I am so excited about the cruise! This will be our first Disney Cruise. Can't believe how the time is flying by. I booked all our excursions this week. I am really interested in the door decorating deal. Is anyone else planning to decorate? I have been doing my homework and trying to figure it all out. It is quite overwhelming. The magnet swap sounds neat, need to see what that is all about and what is involved. If I have time to prepare I may join in.

We are looking forward to the trip a lot. The wedding is only 10 weeks away. That means the cruise is also. We go to WDW at least once and year and sometimes twice a year. The cruise is something extra special. I can't wait!

Hi All!

Sorry I haven't been online in a while but it's been busy.

Welcome Aboard to everyone who has signed on after I did.

This is not our first cruise so if you have any questions ask away and I'll see if I can answer them. This will be our 8th cruise but our first one on the Wonder in 8 years. We are excited about this cruise but we're not sure how we are going to handle only being on the ship for 4 days.(We are use to longer)

We were not going to do a cruise at first but my youngest DD really wanted to do a cruise so DH said we could book the 4 day. The cruise falls in the middle of a long trip for us. We start out with a week in Hawaii, then fly to Orlando(DH flies home-someone has to work to pay for everything ) to meet up with Madeline's Mom then we leave on the cruise. After the cruise we are spending 6 days at Disney and then we are going to our condo in Panama City Beach for a week. I think we will be ready to go home by then.

DisneyPhanatics - I always do door magnets for our doors. It's not that hard and it's a lot of fun.

Thanks for the welcome DVC4US. DH2B and I have both cruised before but have never cruised with Disney. It will be a wonderful way to include the Disney magic in with our wedding. My DH2B proposed in the castle on our trip this past Sept. We were hoping for the 7 day cruise but since the Magic is on the west coast we settled for the 4 day trip.

Your long vacation sounds wonderful. Wish I could manage that much time off of work. We won't make the park trip in June, we will be heading back in Sept. though. Just completed dining ressie tonight for that trip.

I have actually started working on my door magnets. I am trying to be original but there are so many cute idea's out there. I will try to put my own twist on some things that I saw on one of the other threads.

WOW! It just occurred to me that as of today, we are less than 2 months away from boarding the WONDER!!!! Is anyone else excited?

I am heading to WDW this weekend for a race -- the Minnie Marathon, a 15k (9.3 miles) race through parks and surrounding roads & resorts. The only reason I won't be in my typical post-WDW vacation depression come Monday night is that I'll have the cruise to look forward to. I just realized I know next to nothing about the new dining rotation and the show schedule, etc. I'd better plan on doing some research next week.

Oh, and the menus! I always have to look at the menus ahead of time so I can start anticipating the food!

Hi everyone, We are getting excited about the cruise also. Can't believe it is getting so close. Guess we will all be boarding 8 weeks from today.

I also checked out the menu's, everything looks so yummy.

I've been working on door magnets. I have some really cute ideas. I'm going to have to choose from some, I have too many ideas for the door.

The cruise plans are all completed, all the ressies are made. The only thing now is to be patient and wait for the trip. We have just a little over 7 weeks. I was just reading a thread about someone falling off the banana boat. Glad we are not doing that one. My DH would have fun pushing me off.

I was working on my door magnets the other day and printed one of the patterns for the Mickey ears. I don't think they are the right size. I saw on another thread the posted dim's. I'll have to do them over. Good thing it doesn't take long.

Are you going to lunch in France this weekend? I really enjoy the soup and sandwich.

LOL, from what I hear it sounds like a blast but hold on for dear life. They recommended wearing googles.
