This will be our first cruise ever, and we're terribly excited. I just put down our deposit a couple of days ago.

We are:
Angela (me)
Max (DH)
Lee (DD, age 16 at the time of sail)

Hard to believe that she'll be driving by the time we set sail.

Welcome! If Lee wants to meet someone before she goes let me know. My niece is 14 now and will turn 16 a couple months before we sail in 2014. We've been on two already and will be on the Wonder this summer. She loves The Vibe . Sam is on facebook and I would be happy to get her information to you via PM. She's done well making friends the first two trips, but was very skeptical the first time about not knowing anyone. The clubs do a good job holding ice breakers if the kids know when to be there for them.

My DD will be about 3 weeks from 7 when we sail in 2014. We didn't celebrate her birthday on the ship last summer because we have hers, great-grandma and DH's so close together she gets a full week of celebrations at home. But I'm thinking if you go on Disney 3 years in a row within 3 weeks of your birthday you should get to celebrate it at least once, right?

Yes, Oasis is my daughters sweet 16 trip. Really did not want to do a sweet 16 birthday party, so asked if she would rather go on a trip, so it is a win-win for me!!!! Just a girls trip, DH will take DS on a trip when he turns 16. Booked that trip 2 years in advance so I can not believe it is finally 6 months out. Now I have a long wait for this one but really excited to see a thread already started!!!

My DD will also be 16 (turning 17 in Sept 2014) so she is always up for meeting new people. She also worshiped The Vibe and had a great time last year. Glad to see other girls on this ship as the last trip there were a ton of teenage boys.

Wow, I have always wanted to do a girls trip with my DDs but my husband is a huge Disney fan and I don't think he would ever let us go without him.

I think my hubby would have an issue too if it was Disney. However, he is taking our son on a west coast baseball field tour for his 16th birthday so he is okay with the girls trip.

Thank you, John, for starting this board already!! That is awesome! We just sailed on the Wonder last week. It was our first Disney cruise. While still on board, we booked for the Fantasy cruise on June 28th. We are going through "Cruise Withdrawal" so joining this board will help!

Our family is Dave (my husband), Jillian (our 7 year old daughter) and me...Mom! My sister, Joanne and her 8 year old daughter Bella will be joining us...it;s their first cruise!

The Fantasy ship looks absolutely amazing!! We will be on Deck 7.

Oh...we're from New Hampshire!!!!

Hello, DIS-ers!

We are SO beyond excited to go on this cruise. It'll be myself, DH, and DD age 11.5, and DD age 8.5 (the "halves" are very important, you know! )

Anyway, looking for two girls to email back and forth with mine, and maybe if all goes well they can meet up on the Fantasy next June!

That's what we did for our last cruise (Magic, June 2012). Met up with a very nice family. All our daughters emailed and sent pics. It really added a whole other, terrific dimension to the vacation. I figure why not try it again?
