Welcome. We are interested in the Allure/Oasis of the Seas, probably a couple of years off though. We have Aulani and NCL Pride of America planned for 2015 Please tell us all about it when you get back.

We are back from Oasis. We loved it! We will book it again. I thought the shows were awesome and customer service was great. Very clean ship and so much to do.

We just got back from our Eastern Caribbean Fantasy cruise on July 6. We sailed through the 4th and loved it! We booked another on board, and wanted to do another 4th of July cruise! I was so happy to see this thread. This will be our 5th Disney cruise - our fam is:

Glad you had a good time. I have been researching the Oasis and Quantum class for awhile. I think the more I read about Royal Caribbean the more I appreciate how Disney does cruising.

We just booked AKL on the concierge level for the week prior to our cruise. We are checking in 6/21 and out on the morning of the cruise. DVC has an 11 month booking window for your home resort so we were able to book the 2 bedroom first thing this morning at 8 AM

We did the St. John/Trunk Bay excursion on St. Thomas, and my daughter and her friend did the Screamin Eagle boat ride. We decided to do St. Maarten on our own and took a cab ride out to Orient Bay Beach, but the weather wasn't good at all, so we came back to port shortly after we got there and just shopped. Overall it was a great time in both places, but St. Thomas was my favorite, and St. John/Trunk bay was absolutely beautiful!

Our original plan was to go on the cruise and then spend a week in WDW. In the past, when we sailed first and WDW second we came down the day before the cruise and stayed at a resort near the port.

The last time we stayed at the Radission at the port which was nice, but I had heard good things about the Ron Jon resort so I booked the one day before.

We decided instead to stay at WDW for a week before the cruise so I booked AKL, I didn't need the Ron Jon booking anymore so I called to cancel.

I received a letter yesterday from Ron Jon explaining what a wonderful resort it is and if we could spend "just 90 minutes of our time" they would like to give more us details. Pass! Glad I canceled that reservation, won't be staying there EVAR!

We had the same thing happen at a Diamond International resort in Williamsburg, VA. They bothered us daily. What a PIA.

We're still not sure what we are going to do. Until our cruise with you we had never vacationed AFTER a vacation but we really liked being able to wind down and slowly return to reality. Seems so far away but I guess it's not really. Gotta think on that some more.

My son and I just got home from our very first cruise ever, 7 nights aboard the beautiful Disney Wonder to Alaska. it was such an amazing experience that I signed up for this cruise to the Caribbean while still on board the Wonder!

I'm Audrey, and I'll be traveling with my son Barrett, who will be ten when we sail. We're from the small town of Ashland, in southern Oregon. Looking forward to getting to know all of you over this next year! And we would love to participate in the fish extender, we had a great time with that on our last cruise!!

Welcome Audrey and Barrett~ Hopefully our group will get a little more active as we approach our sail date. Guilty as charged! We have had a very hectic summer. Not that the school year is any more calm - just a different kind of hectic.

Two, the person traveling with me will be her first ever DCL cruise. And finally, three...said person will be my lovely wife come June 14th of 2014!!! So this will be our Honeymoon!!!!

So anyways, like I said..definitely can't wait til June 28th of next year...gonna love to see her facial expressions when everything goes on. Pirates night...Fireworks at sea...4th of July on Castaway Cay...Ugh..gonna be a blast!! Which got me thinking...I know they do fireworks on pirates night...but will we get lucky and get two fireworks night cause of the 4th??

I was wondering the same thing about the 4th. When I get a chance I will see if i can find a trip report and see what might have been done on past cruises.
