June 28, 2011 Disney Wonder 7-day Alaska

Is everyone dressing up for pirate night? Every time we've cruised I've wanted to dress up but haven't yet. DS has a couple of pirate mickey tees he can wear, since I don't think I will be able to make him a costume. I will have to dig out my mickey ears bandanna from the last cruise.

Anyone wanting to be added to the fish extender list please add your information here. Information should include names of adults, gender and age of children and your stateroom number. Please also PM ILuvJimny because they are doing personalized gifts.

I will be out of town this weekend and will make updates Sunday evening.

Anyone get there cruise documents yet? We are 45 days away and from what I've read on other sites, they should be arriving any time now

No docs yet. I asked our TA and she said 30 days or so. On a kind of related note, DS's passport should be here mid week!

Hiya,
Not sure if my family will be on this cruise yet.. Though its looking quite likely!
Just wondering if there will be a teen meet up on the first day? Or if any of your teenagers have facebook, it would be fun to connect before the cruise! I'm happy to add anyone, just pm for a link (:
I am fifteen and in tenth grade, by the way!

Just a repost incase anybody missed this! So far I have connected with one other teenager and would love to meet some more! :hippie:

My pyrate stuff is too bulky for unneeded travel. (I help at a big cancer fundraiser event every year that has that theme) Probably just bring our bandannas, since the only other pirate stuff any of us have are t-shirts.

We have mickey ears bandannas (from our house party years ago) that we wear. My son also has a capt jack sparrow wig/hat (he had whole costume but it's too small for him now) We usually piece together outfits but it doesn't seem like it's as big a deal as it was on the other cruises so I'll probably just bring the hats to save space in the luggage.

We would like to be added to FE. Our stateroom is 1053. It will be me Michelle, (dh)Kevin, and our two DS Connor (9) and Will (6).

I'm sure there is a thread but do people make or buy their fish extenders? I know the deadline is coming up so I need to decide if we are participating quick. Lol

I purchased one from Etsy since I don't have enough time.. you can do a search for fish extenders. There are a couple of people who come up in the search.

Hello everyone! We will be joining you on the June 28th cruise. I can not believe after all these months of researching on the DIS that I just found the meet thread. I go straight to the cruise section and it keeps me reading for hours. I also discovered the Budget board and Creative designs. So far the Budget threads have cost me money because they keep posting about all these great deals.:rotfl: Anyway this is our second Disney cruise and we are sooo excited. We booked this trip about two years ago and I can not believe it is finally becoming a reality. I would love to join the FE. I am new to the whole FE thing so please help. Do we give gifts to everyone in the stateroom or just per cabin? Oh I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Tracy and I will be traveling with my husband and three kids{11,9,5}. We also have my Mom and my Mother in law along on this trip. Would love everyones tips for how they are packing for this trip. I am going crazy trying to figure out how to pack all these layers we are suppose to take. I can not believe we have only a little over a month to go. Looking forward to having people to share my trip with. :goodvibes

Oops, almost forgot, Here is the info for the FE. We are in cabins 7005 and 7007. My family is Mario [my husband} Tracy[me] and my mom Sandy and mother in law Rosie. Three boys 11, 9, and 5. I do not think I can PM yet is there another way to give my info. Thanks

I have been reading the threads from the people who have returned.. I think they had unusually good weather but from I can tell.. I will probably pack mainly jeans, long sleeved t shirts, fleece jackets and a rain coat. I here you can buy a lot of the fleece and rain gear in the ports but we needed the stuff for scouts and other events so we already stocked up. I will probably pack t-shirts in case of some warm weather as well. Dress up stuff for dinner. Not sure if this helps.. We are so excited about the trip as well!! Can't wait.. :yay:

I'm excited to say we've decided to do FE!!! I was worried I wouldn't have time to make something but I just figured it out:goodvibes I will PM the person doing the personalized gifts.
Also our friends going with us want in too. You have my info but theirs is
room 6541 Genelle and Peter they have a DD 9 (her bday june 26th)

I do have a question about the actual Fish Extenders...do we have to have one with multiple pockets? Wasn't sure how that works. This will be our 5th cruise but we've never done the FE before...THANKS

This was in addition to the regular night's menu, which I think was captains gala? I seem to recall eating lobster instead of fried chicken... But I think the fried chicken was good?
