Most of us with the exception of the BBM are going to do the traveling before the cruise

We're blaming our traveling companions. They have this thing about being in different places on 05/05/05, 06/06/06, 07/07/07, etc. They planned to be at the Eiffel Tower on 07/07/07 anyway, so it has all worked out great.

(I don't remember them all, but they were in Australia in 05, and Alaska this year....)

Yup just finished a KAYAK search for roundtrip airfares Boston to Barcelono (stops in Paris for DLP) and the fare is just over 1K about 2 to 4 hundred higher then previous fares gotta wait some more!

Speaking of "that list" , I took the liberty of forwarding it to my travel agent friend who runs a bunch of Yahoo Disney groups. He's the guy I booked my Med Cruise through and really specializes on Disney stuff. I think he booked a hundred or so Med Cruises when they opened bookings.

He just returned recently from a Carnival Med cruise which was very similar to ours and had used many of the people on the list. He narrowed it down to the exact ones and gave me comments on them.

I didn't want to post his comments directly on the boards, but I don't think he'd mind me forwarding them to you. If anyone wants them, just drop me a note with your email and I'll send them.

I figure we can narrow down these tour operators and maybe set up some group tours over the next few months.

aww garsh ... you missed me. you really missed me!

... and no, no Runny's, Big Bob Boy's OR McD's Good night nurse! This was a vacation - although I did have to slum it and drink cheap wine once BTW, it was a boring trip, no fun, you wouldn't have liked it at all.

BBM- if you want me to post the tour reviews on our web site I can do it. I can always post the best info from the Med Thread there so we don't have to keep going back and searching (what will be) many many pages looking for a link that was given weeks prior. Let me know.

I have been bugging and bugging my boss to approve my vacation for next year and he putting it off. We finally had a discussion about it b/c I told him I needed to book air and couldn't do it until I got the vacay time approved.

IT WAS DENIED!!!!

I can get a week, but not two, not even 10 days! I'm devastated...I've been depressed for 3 weeks now. We have big plans within the company next summer and I just shouldn't be away for that time frame.

DS and I have never been to WDW, so we rebooked to a Wonder 3 day with 6 days at the Poly before for Feb 2007.

I am absolutely sick to my stomach. But now that I have gotten past the urge to kill my boss, I'm getting a little better. It's killing me! We have the money!

Alas, I will have to live vicarously (sp?) through you guys and hope that we will meet up again in the future! I will be stalking this thread.

Wow, Honu! You were the first person I ever corresponded with in here. I'm SOOOOO sorry this happened to you. I CAN tell you this much though, you'll enjoy the cruise, and the POLY is my absolute favorite Disney hotel of all time.

I know BBM! After you introduced me to the ya hoo group, I REALLY became OCD!

I'm seriously thinking about doing the RCCL next summer. It's similar to the DCL 10 day, but in only 7 days. I think I'll throw up if I have to see the Magic and I'm not on it! And hear the whistle? I'm crying just thinking about it! We'll see. That's why I'll be stalking the threads.

I'm looking forward to the Poly. Any suggestions on a building?

Our favorite is the Roratonga. It's right next to the Great Ceremonial House, in front of the quiet pool, right next to the bus stop and only about 4 minutes from the Ticket and Transportation Center.

hmmm... never been on the Wonder. Cheri wondering if Honu would notice an extra-large breathing suitcase showing up in her room...
