June 27, 2007 10 Night - The Rodney Dangerfield of Med Cruises

If we do the online registration (which is easy) and print out the few forms they indicate, what documents do we need to get in the mail?

I think :confused3 just the lugage tags are all that will be needed. They have your stateroom info on them so they can deliver to your room. :yay:

Yup need luggage tags!:thumbsup2

Oh Well no DVD Im downloading DCL Med on my IPOD!:cool1:

We're in the second seating also. Anyone up for trying to schedule tours as a group? we are 5 and would like to do some tours on our own. I hear things on the boards about private drivers but I'm having trouble finding stuff for all the ports. Any thoughts ? Starting to look forward to the fun if I could just get organized.
LLH:goodvibes princess:

We would like to do some privtae tours in Rome Especially if we can bypass the Vatican Lines. I have myself, Wife, and kids 12 and 8. Let me know

Okay What did you get? Obviousely Mine has Not Shown UP!:headache:

Being just three hours from DCL headquarters has its benefits I see!!

One booklet for the group, not one per guest. The booklet has been trimmed down now that most of the important docs are online. :thumbsup2

One page of "Helpful Hints for your Med Voyage". Ground transfer info, excursion recommendations in a few ports, cell phone info. :goodvibes

One "Data Privacy notice":rolleyes1

One "Acknowledgement, Release, and Indemnity Agreement" which releases Disney form being sued if you get injured on any tours conducted by the non-Disney vendors that are providing the tours. This form has to be signed and turned in at check-in. :rolleyes1

And, THE LUGGAGE TAGS!!! :dance3:

All right!! :thumbsup2 : Congrats!! :yay:

The countdown continues!!

Lots of kids going on this cruise it seems. Maybe they will all hit it off and entertain each other popcorn:: .

Anyone else having second thoughts on the Mt. Vesuvius climb? Have not seen any glowing reviews, just a couple of not so good ones. I am rethinking that one.

Will there be anyone on the cruise in their late teens, as I am 19 and just wondering if anyone my age will be on the cruise.
PS only 18 days 11 hours and 18 minutes till we bored:yay:

Our packets arrived today. One came to me and included DH. DD18 received a packet that included DS15. We only have one stateroom, but maybe they couldn't put all in one packet. Or maybe they know DD18 is gonna need a lot of luggage tags...

I'm in Virginia and my cabinmate is in Rhode Island and I bet she got all the documentary stuff.

Try handling unrelated persons in one cabin. We're already going to have to beg for extra gifts if there are any. Had to do that on the Panama Canal cruise but we did end up with two blankets and two PC books.

What were we supposed to do, mail them back and forth every other month?

Yeah, you would too if you wanted the really cool Panama Canal blanket.

Anybody interested in having a DIS meet on the first sea day, June 28? Let's say 2 PM at the family pool area on deck 9...drinks for the adults, ice cream for the kids...maybe a bit of ice cream for the adults too...wear your Rodneys or maps if you've got 'em.

I have the ladies' red cap sleeve Rodney...
