Woo hooo! Can't wait! We board on the 21st and I'm beside myself as I don't have doc #1 yet! My TA said her boss got them yesterday and she was going to send them directly to me rather than send them to my TA to send to me....can't wait, can't wait, can't wait!

We have not got our docs as of today.
I have been so busy with school that I have not been able to get to the boards.
At the moment I am working on sewing our Disney shirts to get on the ship. Each time we cruise I make new Disney shirts.
We decided last week that we will go to Universal Studios the day before we get on the ship. My kids love Harry Potter and so this should be fun for the entire family. When we get off the ship we are going to DisneyWorld.
I am pretty excited about this cruise. We went at Christmas on the Christmas cruise and that was awesome. Now we get to go on the Dream. I cannot wait till we can ride the ride on the ship. My 78 year old mother is going to ride. This should be fun.
Off to sewing.

Happy Memorial Day!! We got our cruise docs last week and we are getting so excited!! Unfortunately many of my wonderful plans to make tshirts etc are not coming true - but we will make due. Seems as the kids get older spring gets busier and busier with sports and scouts.

My kids have 7 more days of school and I have 14 more days!!

I went to Universal in March and Harry Potter World was packed-really crowded! And I can't wait to go back The Hogwarts ride had a really long line and I was glad I took some bonine while I waited because it was much more intense than I expected. My sister said that it was really too much for her DS (9), but I'm thinking my teens will love it. The butter beer was delicious, but very sweet. We're planning to try it the day we disembark as my DD14 and DH have not been there yet.

Good for your Mom willing to try the aquaduck I figure if Donald Duck can ride it than how bad can it be My Mom is around the same age, but I can't get her on a ship because she is so afraid of the water.

Happy Memorial Day

Mine are in school until the middle of June. I am swamped with work until the week before we leave. End of quarter deadlines and stuff

First off, Happy Memorial Day to everyone, especially anyone in the group who is/was a member of the armed forces.

Secondly, is anyone planning on dressing up for pirate night and if so, are you donning a costume, or going the casual route with a very accessories. My friends and I are trying to figure out what we are going to do still.

We are dressing up, but not in "official costumes" since we're four girls, we're going the white shirt, black leggings, etc route with accessories. We will definitely have head gear!! Dressing up is a personal choice.....we have some great photos from pirate night.......if you have the luggage space, go for it!!

In the past we usually just wore pirate t-shirts and bandanas on pirate night My DD did have a pirate costume but she's since outgrown it.
My DH does have the Jack Sparrow hat with dreadlocks and he might be bringing that along since we are driving.

Gotta ask my family if they are interested in dressing up and get back to you

Has anyone been on the catamaran at Castaway Cay to snorkel? If so, did you like it? Would you recommend it for all ages? We booked the excursion on the second day in the afternoon. Thanks!

Hi Everyone! We are home from a wonderful weekend of camping fun! This weekend I have a business seminar and then SERIOUS PACKING PLANNED! I can not believe how close we are getting! Three weeks from today, I will be watching Illuminations in Epcot!

We are planning on dressing up for pirate night. I haven't gotten a costume yet--- I need to make a decision soon!

Thought I better post because this week is going to fly by so fast so I better ask while I can!

So....thanks to you guys, I have the schedule for dress each night and the ports that we are at. What shows are going on each night? Was trying to compare to a 4 day navigator but that's hard. They have golden mickeys the first night with formal pictures. Yikes....that's hard. They have Golden Mickeys, Villains tonight, cabaret, and Disneys believe shows. Caberat was planned with pirates night.

Do you have any update as to what shows are which night?

What is the Villains tonight?
Is the Golden Mickeys the same as the GM on magic/wonder?

We did it a few years ago...it's an ok excursion, though we've much preferred snorkeling in other ports much better. We found it to be rather murky and not much to see. Our trip was also cut short due to bad weather.

I have a black skirt and white peasant blouse that I 'dress up' with accessories. Sulley has a 'special tee he wears with a bandanna....that's dressing up for him!

We did it a few years ago...it's an ok excursion, though we've much preferred snorkeling in other ports much better. We found it to be rather murky and not much to see. Our trip was also cut short due to bad weather.

I've heard that in general snorkeling is usually better in the morning before the sand gets stirred up. My DH has some pics of the Mickey Statue when he went snorkeling at CC years ago. But I've also heard that CC is not the best of places to snorkel as well

I have a dark navy blue skirt that I was thinking of bringing for pirate night-just looking for a piratey-like top.
The pirate tee and the bandana is most likely what my crew is wearing though too
But DH is going to wear his Jack Sparrow hat again
