with the group Facebook page I have not been here lately. I have been wanting to eat at Remy but I am a single parent and do not want to eat alone. We have had trouble in the past setting a day because people do not want to miss shows or special dinners. One of the cruisers on Facebook came up with:

"I think the problem was what night to pick for Remy. We wound up picking the second sea day as the dinner is long. On sea days I think they sometimes offer a matinee show so less worries about missing the evening show. We would love to go with a group. We picked the earliest time available which was 6:50. We can try getting a group table once we board if anyone else is interested??"

Based on that I fugued I had until 2 pm the day of dinner to cancel so I booked myself on the second sea day (day 6) on the 6:50 pm setting also. If we can get more then we can have fun as a group.

If not I will cancel

We really had an amazing dinner here last June, but it would have been even better to have a bunch of DIS people to share it with
The menu seems to change depending on season or reviews, plus you can choose anything from their menu if you happen not to like the ingredients of one dish.

Are you considering the snorkeling excursion? I've got a DD10 and we are planning to try the 2 reef snorkel. It would be great if there was someone else her age for moral support!

That is the excursion we are looking at doing, even if boys do their own thing. Just not sure how many to book for yet! I'll post for sure what we decide to do, but my DDs will both be glad to see other kids there!

My girls are nervous about snorkeling in "deep" water, so the snorkeling day in GC should be perfect for getting them comfortable in shallower water first. We are also looking at bringing our own snorkel gear -at least masks and snorkels. We girls have always struggled with the fit of rental masks, so I am hoping that helps!

There are 50 people on the Face Book page doing a Snorkeling Excursion. One of the people set this up and the company has setup 2 boats and an special excursion just for us. Here is the information that was posted a while back and it went from this cruiser and her family to last count 50 with lots of kids.

I wanted to share this anyone who might be interested... We booked our excursion (not with Disney) for Grand Cayman with Native Way Watersports. I spent many hours reading Disboards and other reviews. Sharon (the owner) actually changed the departure times for me since our time in port is so short. They are taking my family of 5 (2 adults 3 kiddies) out to do the Stingray Sandbar, Coral Gardens and Starfish Snorkel. Cost is $40 for adults and $30 for kids. The boat only holds 20 more. DD10 will be very excited if there's someone else her age. I'm hoping that by getting her her own mask and snorkel that she will relax a bit since there's no water seepage. Keeping my fingers crossed. We took her snorkeling in St. Thomas a year and a half ago - the water was a little rough and she freaked out over the shipwreck. Hoping this time she'll enjoy it a bit more.

Are you also doing the private tour that Kim arranged in GC? We will have all three girls on that one.

GAHHHHH!!! Please help. I just had a heart drop moment. I am pretty sure I forgot to sign up for fish extenders. We talked about it, and agreed to do it, but I needed our cabin number. Then with all of the craziness (husband had surgery, and lost his job of 20yrs), i completely forgot. Can anyone tell me if it is too late to sign up, and if not, how I do so. I need a personal assistant, it is obvious now.
