I have been waiting and waiting for someone else to start this thread to no avail, so I will start it. It is the only June 2014 date missing from the Wonder cruise meet!

I am Tina and I will be travelling with my DH and 2 DS, ages 6 and 10 -at time of sailing. My wonderful mother is also travelling with us.

We have booked one of the "secret verandah" rooms and another inside cabin across the hall.

This is our second Disney cruise. We cruised the Med in 2011 with the boys and it was amazing. They have been begging to go on another Disney cruise ever since. My DH and I cruised to Alaska on Celebrity many, many years ago before children and absolutely loved it! We cannot wait to have the experience again with our boys and my mom.

Looking forward to meeting our fellow cruisemates!

I have added your thread to the cruise meet list pixiedust:
Have a great cruise!

Count us in :cool1: Our first Cruise ever!!!! I can't wait :woohoo:

Yeah! :wave2: So happy there will be at least 4 people with us on the cruise!! HA! I was beginning to wonder what was going on. Can't wait!

Next step...researching the excursions!$! :surfweb:

We are in the beginning stages of planning our 2nd Disney Cruise to Alaska. We went in 2011 for my wife's birthday (which was a surprise to her) and we loved it so much. We will be celebrating our Silver Wedding Anniversary the day that we set sail hopefully. We are torn between the cruise or a trip to Hawaii and staying at our home resort Aulani. Any suggestions?

Do both!! :thumbsup2

I love Hawaii also, but I have only been to the Big Island. We are waiting a few more years to take our kids to Hawaii. We would love for them to be old enough to scuba dive with us!

Good luck with your decision!

Okay, there seems to be very few of us on this cruise. So how about if we start to get to know each other a bit before next June.

I will start:

I will be traveling with my DH of 21 years Ed, our 18 year old college student DD, Maria, and our 17 year old DS,Ben, who will be entering his Senior year in High School by the time of the Cruise.
My name is Catherine. We are from Michigan

This is our first Cruise ever and I am very nervous. I have no idea what to expect and for someone who loves over planning every vacation this is a big leap of faith.

We are thinking about flying in to Vancouver a day early to make the trip less stressful.

and my 2 DDs. Brittanie is my 19 year old and Samantha is my 11 year old.
I was hoping to get a Fish Extender going as we have always loved doing them on our last cruise.
We will be flying into Vancouver the day before but probably 2 so we can go sightseeing there also before the cruise.
I am an over planner also. I have already started to look into booking our excursions.
Julie

Where from Michigan are you from? I am Charles and I will be traveling from Grand Rapids, MI to Vancouver. I usually get there a day before the cruise sets sail to make sure we are there in plenty time to set sail. We will be celebrating our Silver Anniversary the day we set sail. Just got off the Disney Dream and would be interesting to see the Wonder again.

Anyone want to participate in the Fish Extender on this cruise? I would be willing to coordinate it. I just got off the Dream and really was amazed at all the creativity that went into the FE gifts.

We are from New Lothrop, a small village east of Owosso and west of Flint I don't know what a fish extender is.

A Fish Extender is something that gets hung outside your door from the ornament that looks something like a fish. People who participate make or buy gifts for each one in the stateroom and do a gift exchange. It will be like Christmas in July. The last one that I participated in had 25 cabin and it was a blast to come back to the room to see what was in the pockets hanging from the fish. If you want I can send you the name of a person who made ours and also send a picture of what I wanted for mine.

I did some research and understand now Thanks! I am a pretty good at sewing so I think I'll try to make one.

Hello everyone! So happy that this board is getting some more action!

I am Tina and will be cruising with my husband, Trent, and our 2 DS, Jack, age 10 (turns 11 on July 4th!pixiedust:), and Ty, age 6. My dear mom, Judy, is also cruising with us. This is our 2nd Disney cruise. We cruised on the Magic in the Mediterranean in 2011. It was awesome. We are super excited to cruise with Disney again and make some more amazing memories. We are planning to fly into Seattle about 4 days ahead and sightsee there and make our way up to Vancouver via Amtrak. We are hoping to go whale watching in the San Juan Islands and see some Orcas. We are in the early stages of planning excursions for the ports of call as well $$$.

I did not do a fish extender on the Magic, but would be interested in doing one this time. Do you have to give out a gift every day or is it once per cruise? Packing always seems to get tricky, but if we have room, I am in!!

on giving a gift to each stateroom. It can be for the whole stateroom or for individuals in the stateroom, it was a one time gift/gifts. It is too much work to do it everyday. When did you take your Mediteranean cruise in 2011? We did one too

doing? I am overwelmed just looking on the boards and trying to decide what to do at each port.
Any ideas of what other people are doing would be great

My DH and DD are thinking about doing the Whale Watching and Wildlife Quest in Juneau. They are the adventurous ones in our family. I think my DS and I will be happier walking around each port and just seeing the local sights. I love the idea of walking around and seeing what we find in a new place.

We have never been on a cruise before and to tell the truth I am a bit shy of committing myself to an excursions only to realize I just wanted to sleep in and relax that day.
